I was given a free upgrade from a single to a double room.

The location was great. Cleanliness was very good.
Eastbourne Pier is a classic starting point for walks up Beachy Head. This is where you don your jacket, double-check your maps, make sure your flask is full – and steel yourself for the climb ahead! It’s a beautiful thing in its own right, with charming buildings that hark back to a golden age of British seaside resorts.
