We stayed at Elderbrook House for a quick visit to the Avebury stones. We were welcomed and shown to our room even though we turned up well before check-in time. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was filling and delicious. The property is only a few miles from Avebury. There aren't many accommodation options close to the stones so it is nice that this one is a gem. Would recommend.

Very beautiful property, nicely located with shops, including lovely antiques nearby. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, was a good stopover spot between places we visited.

The hotel is overpriced for what you expect. The breakfast was not generous , no fresh fruit , cheese etc.
On the night the fire alarm was tripped . and took a long time to resolve The response to compliant from the hotelier was rude and disrespectful . I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family in the future there are better /value for money places in Device
