Comfortable room with good hot shower and lots of outlets . The staff were very friendly and stored our bikes inside for us overnight. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety, was all warm and was quickly topped up, nice of the chefs to pop out and speak to people never normally get to say thank you to those who cook, room was comfortable and clean, didn't have evening meal there as out with family all day, there was not much choice for food around the area if you walk apart from a pub across the road but it's only a 5 minute car journey to the town centre where there is plenty of places to eat and drink

An independent, family-run hotel in an extended Victorian home, with many impressive original features. Close to Carlisle city center and the M6 motorway.
Location fine. Breakfast very good. All very clean.
Very close to cumberland infirmary hospital , well equipped (washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and utensils….), the staff who are responsible for the property are super nice and helpful(we had issue in the shower and they came right away). Mr Andy was extremely nice and friendly , he picked me up with his own car when there was no taxi to take me :(
