We have a great experience at the Heathmount. We found it to be in a good location to the centre of town and the train station. Breakfast was well catered for as you could order off the menu. Dinner down stairs was a welcome relief when you have been out and on the go all day. The staff were very helpful. A special shoutout goes out to Robert with updating me on my delayed luggage and then surprising me with it at the door when it was delivered.

Nothing, hotel is very tired, decoration throughout is sorely in need of doing, staff were fairly unkempt in appearace, except for one young girl on the second morning. On our second night there was a function with lots of school leavers and the music went on until midnight. In fairness the people vacated quietly. A bad choice by us. Room 7 is dark dingy and directly over the function area. We simply spent as little time in the hotel as possible not the place for over 60s.
