The food was amazing , The staff very friendly and the service excellent.

The room was really nice, right opposite my friends wedding so didn't have to walk far, a shop on either side of the pub so that was very handy. For us the best thing was the breakfast!!! Absolutely delicious.

Although above a busy pub the music stopped at 11pm and we were thoughtfully provided ear plugs if you are an early to bed type.
We were able to bring in takeaway food as none is available at the pub. It was an excellent overall experience and one I would recommend if you are a regular pub user.

Perfect location to stay for a wedding at Carlton Towers. 5 mins walk.
Cottage is really comfortable. Huge downstairs bathroom, cosy sitting room and 2 comfortable bedrooms upstairs. No kitchen or fridge. Kettle and tea/ coffee/ water provided. Lovely setting on edge of estate near Carlton pub and shop.
Really nice room and excellent location for a wedding we attended at Carlton Towers but no breakfast at all!! Apparently the staff had left for pastures new so no chef to do the breakfast, not even an offer of a discount as breakfast was included in the price. No one around the following morning for checking out either. Some guests at the same wedding had booked over the phone but when they turned up no record of their booking!
