We enjoyed the experience of staying at Parador 44 in Cardiff. Easy walking distance from the train station and close to Cardiff Castle, Bute Park and the shopping and restaurant district. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable. We noticed a drip of water near one of the water heaters and they moved us to another room at no inconvenience to us. There was a guest lounge that was well provisioned with just about everything including espresso, teas, wine and snacks. There was also an outdoor patio which was a bonus. The continental breakfast was laid out at the bar and we also ordered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon which one of the best we've ever had. The staff was great and helped us with our luggage.

The restaurant and breakfast area shut 3 days before we arrived . There was nowhere to get food or drinks. No one contacted us to inform the situation. We had booked for dinner and breakfast. Really poor service.

Really handy to Cardiff City centre and train station so no concerns about having to book a taxi back at end of the night from being out in the town! We were able to check in early as the room was ready. Very friendly efficient staff, decent buffet breakfast for the price. Clean room with good amenities. Nice lounge area to sit and have a coffee or nightcap!
Good location. 10-15 minute walk to Cardiff City Centre. Bus stop around the corner on Newport Road. Imran the property manager was very efficient and provided extra towels and the coffee pods we had requested.
The location is great, very central and easy to get anywhere you want to go. There is a train station 10mins walk away and a bus stop on the same round. Plenty of different shops nearby too. Cardiff city centre is around a 15min walk away. The house was clean and very comfortable, especially the beds. There is plenty of space and we appreciated the big comfortable sofas and armchairs.There was good communication from the host and quick replies to any messages I sent. In general we enjoyed our stay.

Beds didn't feel comfy, but they were and we slept well. Good place if you're out all day and need a base. Lots of shops, pub and a coffee shop very close. 25 minute walk to Cardiff city centre, including castle.
The Clayton is positioned in an ideal location right in the middle of Cardiff City, and within a couple minutes walk of the train station/taxi ranks. Our rooms were comfortable and the staff accommodated our request to have adjoining rooms, which we really appreciated.
The location was great, right at the end of Roath and about 30 min walk from Cardiff City Central. Close to parks and food. The heat worked well and the shower water had good pressure and heating. The kitchen was easy to use and could make more than just noodles. The fridge was very cold (froze my food so check the setting😜).
Brilliant location about a 8 minute drive from Cardiff city centre, works out about a £5-£10 Uber depending on the time. Beautiful view of the river from both the living room and bedroom windows. Very clean and well furnished apartment with an extra sense of safety as it’s a gated complex.
The location is amazing, in the center of Cardiff city center. Close to everything: shopping, central train station, the park. The hotel was so clean with a very cute common room.
The hotel is in the middle of both Cardiff city centre and Cardiff Bay so access to them both is great. The room was very clean and the sofa bed was double so a lot more comfortable for my son than other hotels we have stayed at. Super choice for breakfast in the morning.
