Second time I used this hotel. Even bigger room this time.
The properties were fantastic and excellent value for money. We stayed at Hafoty for a long weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were in driving distance to Yr Wyddfa, and very close to wonderful sites such as Caernarfon Castle, Beaumaris Castle and more. We would have loved to have stayed longer and seen more of Rhostryfan itself, but we had a packed itinerary! Thanks Carla and John.
What a surprise! Last building in the street - next stop was Caernarfon town wall & waterfront. Lovely welcoming interior, warm hello from Henri(etta), bright & airy. Nothing like the backpackers I had stayed at in my younger days. We had "the penthouse" as Henri called it. Three stories up but roomy & comfortable with limited views of Caernarfon castle & harbour from the windows. Great breakfast selection (self serve) with a small variety of pastries & fruit to take out for snacks.
Thanks Henri...!!!
Fantastic location in very close proximity to Caernarfon Castle. Lots of places of interest, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Free parking via permit by sending an email, host will give details. Good size rooms. Clean linen & towels. Bottle of prosecco & shortbread a nice touch.
Very comfortable well laid out modern static caravan with everything you could need. Loads of storage space, plenty of hot water and heating. Great view of Snowdonia National park and only 10 minutes walk from Caernarfon Castle.
The location is amazing ,very close to the estuary,in walking distance to the Caernarfon castle .The fireplace it’s wonderful if you’re going there in the colder months. It’s a bit secluded so if you’re looking for a quiet place …this is the spot
Angelsey Arms pub and parking is directly opposite the castle, with seating area right next to the sea and a lovely view. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was just around the corner. Breakfast was brilliant and kind staff filled up our water and put them in the freezer for us while we went to Caernarfon Castle (a must for all). Was able to keep car parked for longer than checkout which was a huge help so we could see the area. Wish we stayed longer.
Very clean, modern and spacious new cottage
Superbly equipped with loads of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Fabulous storage in all bedrooms and kitchen, and very comfortable beds
Very lovely quiet rural location and yet well located to explore North Wales and Snowdonia National park
Many lovely walks available within a 20 min drive, and Caernarfon castle and the nearby beach are even closer at 10-15 mins
The breakfast was lovely, however one morning I was not asked about my dietary requirements and was given a breakfast with meat on, I am a vegetarian so this was not great. The location is perfect, right next to the north coast with amazing views of Caernarfon Castle and Angelsey.
Lovely, comfortable & clean apartment. A real home away from home. Great central location. Within 2 mins walk you are at Caernarfon Castle and centre of town. Friendly & helpful host. Parking is street permit parking but host supplies visitor parking permits. I would highly recommend this apartment.
