12th century inn that is currently having a total makeover, maximising its traditional buildings with the addition of more recent extensions which hold lovely modern spacious rooms. The pub has lots of character and the new owners are currently putting together the menus for breakfast, dinner, snacks and d restaurant. Well deserves a good review

Lovely location walking distance from Aysgarth falls and local walks around the Yorkshire countryside. Very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast in the morning with plenty of different options available. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
This site is ideal for people who have dogs. Great walks and local pubs about mile and a half away. Aysgarth falls about the same and are accessible by car.
Old fashioned hotel in good location, bit tired, but worth staying for being able to walk enjoyably under a mile to the Aysgarth Falls on footpath across fields.
Fantastic location with amazing views. It was a short walk to Aysgarth Falls and about 15 mins to the village. The rooms are comfortable and stylish with some interesting pieces of art.
The breakfast was lovely with a good range to choose from and made from high quality ingredients.
There was a self service bar and the host made some very nice cocktails for us. It was a good atmosphere and nice to be able to speak to some of the other guest should you choose to do so.
Perfect location with beautiful views and so close to Aysgarth falls and Hawes.

Our room was in a cottage adjoining the hotel, great views, comfy bed, good shower.

The Cottage was very comfortable and a great location. You literally couldn't get closer to Aysgarth Falls. There's a lovely hotel up the road for meals and drinks,very friendly staff and beautiful gardens.
The Cottage was very well furnished with all the mod cons you could want. There are plenty of walks around the local area and lots of beautiful villages to explore.

We stayed in room 3 for 3 nights which was classed as a deluxe double room. It was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a lovely rolltop bath as well as a shower and the whole establishment was clean and tidy. We ate breakfast there each day which was tasty - the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were delicious, and the full breakfast was cooked well. Parking at the hotel was fine. The hotel was within a 15min walk of the beautiful Aysgarth Falls.
