Arundel Castle actually.
Arundel Castle actually. I visited the grounds which were lovely, you need two or three hours. That with the castle are a bit pricey. Arundel itself , lots of eating places, lovely bookshop and antique places. Check before you go, after October half term believe it get dead.

Don't think that given how imposing and impressive the cathedral appears from the view from the town, it does not live up to expectations. it is not medieval. For a Catholic Cathedral it was also comparatively sparse, maybe not a bad thing but not what one expects.
