The hosts were very accommodating - they make you want to visit again. They recommended a restaurant a few metres away (and it was very good). Breakfast was excellent, with local jam that we particularly liked.

With limited time (one afternoon) we visited Fleury-devant-Douaumont, the Ossuary and Fort Douaumont. The whole area is full of significant places and we would set aside much more time than we could on this visit for another visit.

La Maison Mirabeau is a beautiful bed and breakfast with an incredible garden and setting. My hostess was so helpful and my room and private bath were so large and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the homemade yogurt, nuts, dried fruits, breads, homemade preserves, special madeleines, and fresh coffee. The B&B is well located to get to the Verdun Battlefield and the Memorial, which are only about 10 minutes away. Enjoyed my stay!
OK place for shorter stays. All what for such stops are needed, were there. Verdun battlefields were 10 km radius, from Luxembourg a bit more than 1 hr to drive. Friendly personnel.
off street parking with gates that shut at 23.00. as we had 4 motorbikes with us.

Beautiful building outside and in. Set right on the waterfront. Ample secure parking although there is a charge, and pretty, private garden. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed. Nice restaurant area and good choice of breakfast. Easy access over the bridge for a choice of restaurants for evening dining. Short drive away from the Verdun battlefield sites.
