Built directly into the hillside, this ancient theater was all but destroyed during the 20th century. Today, you’ll be surprised to discover so much of it is visible. The seating, the orchestra pit, and the stage area can all still be explored, along with some beautiful sculptures and decorative artwork. It really makes for a fascinating few hours of imagining the performances in millennia past.
