why for the sake of faith do all the churchs and cathedrals...

why for the sake of faith do all the churchs and cathedrals remain closed during the season that the Camino de Santiago is busy? Pilgrims want to visit these spaces and The Church is missing an opportunity to raise funds and AWARENESS in this secular world. Most pilgrims are infact searching for something on 'their way'....their walk across Spain. Please open them up.
