They were courteous enough to allow us to use the facilities after we checked out and waiting our taxi to the airport. Plus they offered an extended 2 hour to a parent and baby on check out time which was a nice touch.

Easy to walk around with lots of local buses that were easy to use (you can pay the driver in cash when you get on). The old town is very pretty and the cathedral is beautiful with an interesting history. There's a good selection of restaurants with varied cuisine - plenty of tapas and paella around but also lots of Italian, Indian and British/ Irish pub food around. The town beach is nice enough for a few hours, not the most beautiful and with some rubbish in the sea but there are toilets, drinks for sale and outside showers.
If you want to explore a little further, the boat trip to other beaches was fun and good value for money, and the historic train to Soller was a really good experience.

The best way to see Palma is on foot, the open top bus takes you around the area, but the real heart of the city is the small streets. The Cathedral is stunning and worth a visit, skip the queues and book online, but go early as it does get very crowded. If you book the rooftop terrace, tehy operate a one way system, so people are counted up and only allowed down once its clear again. AND its 200 steps, steep and claustrophobic, there is a warning about people with a health condition as there is no where to stop on the way up to let anyone pass by. BUT it is SO worth it, the views are stunning and I recoomend doing it before you explore the inside of the cathedral, so when you see the stained glass from the inside you can appreciate the sight from the outside as well.
Food and Drink anywhere near the Cathedral or centre is expensive and not of the best quality, but choose a side street and look for the bars where locals are to find the best options. There are hundreds of bars, cafes and restuarants to choose from. El Corte Ingles has a fabulous food hall well worth a visit if you are self catering or looking for picnic supplies. I would definately go back and explore more of the city, and do the old train trip from Palma to Soller, sadly we didint have time on this occasion.

Palma is a beautiful city and I would highly recommend but the bars and restaurants are quite expensive and the service is laid back (which I like on holidays as I am in no rush)The local restaurants/tapas bars are fantastic and I would recommend the Indian restaurant Madras opposite the marina if you fancy a change from the local food

Palma is a lovely city with a mix of the historic old town, beautiful architecture and small cobbled streets, as well as the port and marina area and all the sandy beaches nearby. There is lots to do.
We used the buses a few times, really easy and cheap to use.

Amazing island with breathtaking beaches.
Amazing island with breathtaking beaches. As a Greek I am used to perfect beaches so if this is coming from me you can take my word as a guarantee! Well preserved road network, very important in the case that you decide to rent a car (best way to explore and enjoy this gem of an island) as you will feel instantly safe to drive. A must visit and only half an hour away from Barcelona by plane (don't come close to lose your flight back, Mallorca has a huge airport-I learnt that the hard way).

We had a great stay in this hotel.
The staff were all incredibly helpful with all kinds of advice.
The room we had overlooking the courtyard was really quiet, a good size, with good quality bathroom products, a great shower and a really comfortable bed
The location in the old town was perfect.
It was probably the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel with loads of great options.
I would definitely stay here again when I'm next in Palma
Characterful hotel building and comfortable bed in the old town with very friendly and helpful staff. The innovative plant-led restaurant was an unexpected bonus. We really enjoyed relaxing in the lovely, quiet garden terrace at the rear of the property and making use of its outdoor heated pool - in April.
Great hotel with super friendly
Staff, great breakfast and the rooftop pool is the perfect cherry on the top. Also the street with the best restaurants and bars is like 5 min from the hotel so we were happy we choose to stay there instead of the old town that we were considering.
Newly renovated, best views ever of the marina, huge rooms, wow hospitality. The hotel graciously organised a birthday cake, decorations and drinks for my daughter who turned 18 on the day at no additional charges. We were moved..
Breakfast was very good. Location is perfect in the heart of the city, the room and treats are very good. Staff was briliant. If you want to stay in the old town, I definately recommend this hotel.
