Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards.

This is a Parador on a monumental scale with two exceptionally grand staircases, a Gothic chapel, a substantial gallery round a courtyard and beautifully panelled ceilings (some original, some restored). As Paradors go, the room was smaller than the average one but it was extremely comfortable and had a mini-sala. Reception was top class and very helpful.

I liked the room, it was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good, I recived the meal I asked for and it was delicious.

Beautiful hotel. Recommend rooms with the terrace. Extremely clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking easily accessible across the road. Location near Plaza Mayor, restaurants and bars.
A fantastic place to stay in Plasencia, only a five minute stroll from Plaza Mayor, quiet and away from the noise. The apartment is very well appointed and it is spacious. We received a very warm welcome, too. Our bicycles were safely parked in a private underground garage belonging to a café run/owned by the same family. Overall a really positive experience.
This was the best accommodation we stayed in during our recent trip to Spain. The location is over looking the Plaza Mayor and could but be better. The property is so well thought out. It’s new, modern and has everything you need. The view over the square is so wonderful and the option of opening the window and hearing the bustle below is priceless.
We personally could not recommend this apartment more highly. A must for every visitor to this wonderful city.
The location is close to plaza mayor. The room is spacious and modern. Lovely decor of pictures around the hostal. I would call it a hotel and not a hostal.
Just perfect. I’m very glad to have stayed here. Check-in was very easy, despite a late arrival in Plasencia. The location is excellent, barely two minutes’ walk from Plaza Mayor. The apartment was exactly as advertised with everything I needed. Very comfortable bed, great shower, extremely clean… I would happily stay here again 🙂

in the tourist center near the Plaza Mayor one can find the information on all historical buildings to visit (most of which are free) and on what other events are going on. The week I was there there were 5 free concerts (M-F) in honour of Santa Cecilia, and I heard that there are many saints so celebrated
