We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Vincci. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a more premium option, which was spacious and extremely comfortable. The water pressure was excellent, and the hot water worked perfectly, making for a great experience after a long day.
What really stood out was the exceptional service. When we checked out, we wanted to return from the resort to freshen up before leaving. Instead of a late checkout, the hotel kindly offered us a courtesy room to change and shower, which was incredibly convenient. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service!

Sierra Nevada is one of the most picturesque and scenic places we’ve ever been too. We went for 3 nights and had plenty to do and see. People across all the facilities we encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful.
Good food spots to try out include Tia Maria, Las Gondolas, Salvadas and Tito Trattoria to name a few. We also had evening drinks at The Mountains hotel on a couple of nights too which was also a good find.

We have skied several times in Sierra Nevada and love it...
We have skied several times in Sierra Nevada and love it because it is easy to get to, just over 2 hours driving from Malaga airport. It is ideal for a long weekend and has plenty of easy blues as well as more challenging reds. This year (2025) they have been unlucky with the snow and less than half the skiable terrain is open (Feb 3rd). Definitely worth looking at how many km are open before you book. Also worth noting that it is a purpose built resort and whilst very efficiently designed, it is not a picture postcard alpine village. Large apartment buildings are set into the mountain side. The "zona baja" is where all the lifts and most of the restaurants are located. If your accommodation is in the middle or upper zones, you will need to take a chairlift home after skiing or face a hike up the steps.
We hire our ski equipment at the middle station on the slopes and rent a locker, taking the gondola down at the end of the day in our shoes rather than lugging skis etc.
Our favourite apres-ski spot is Crescendo. Nubbin and her smiley, friendly staff offer a welcoming fire, comfy seats and great tunes!

We visited during August to enjoy the cooler temperatures and summer activities. Lots to do including hiking routes, evenings watching the shooting stars, beautiful swimming pool, and activity area. Lots of fun and some respite from the Granada heat.

Its good resort to visit if you are living in the south of Spain as its just a drive away however its not recommended to fly into it from overseas as its pricy most apartment based accommodation are run down and also pricy and resort facilities in terms of getting passes etc is badly organized and not foreign speaking friendly at all! There is also not much to do there for small kids as they restricting accesses with sledges etc to majority of the areas and only allocating small 'Play park' zone for families

I love that this aparthotel had a front desk. It is nice knowing someone is on the property site in case anything goes wrong. The rooms were very comfy. The building was built for skiing with ski lockers next to the rooms and large dressout areas with benches on each floor. Everything was clean and in good shape. The bed was comfortable. The furniture was in good shape. The kitchen was well appointed, although I did not cook this time around, but the kitchen was equipped with everything needed if I wanted to cook.
Super cleaning and really comfortable double pod bed , ideal for solo snowboarding trip , great communal area with microwave, grill plates etc.
Local free parking and whilst a way from the centre , access from the top of the pedestrian lift meant it was only a downhill walk. Friendly other residents who were there primarily to ski / snowboard , and great host Roberto, I will definitely use again when in the Sierra Nevada.
Hotel location is central to all the ski lifts and bars. Perfect location. Breakfast excellent and the staff very friendly. The room is dated and rustic, but they are being renovated the same as the hotel. Value for money and lovely bar area in the evening to relax in. Pool to open later this year.
Good breakfast and the gourmet dinner was very tasty. Room was clean as expected. The location of the hotel was conveninent and there was access to a chair lift that enabled one to get to the main, cabin lift heading out to Sierra Nevada ski slopes.
The Yeti is very conveniently located . Only a short walk to the lift which takes you down to the Gondolas which reach the ski slopes. Jose was brilliant in checking our bindings and giving us advice. Parking right outside the hotel etc
