Straight from the booking, communion was swift and clear. Checking in late and checking out early was a non issue for for our host at the Sandra Rooms. The room was very comfortable, clean and serviced daily if required. The location is across the road from the beach. The tram and multiple busses 21 & 22, stop very close by. And the staff/team were warm and friendly. Great accommodation and would happily go back to Sandra Rooms again.

The castle is a must-see if you visit Alicante.
The castle is a must-see if you visit Alicante. You need to spend the whole day at the castle. The views of the city are stunning. There is a lift, which goes up the hillside, from the main road to the castle. You can also enter or exit via the back entrance. You might even want to exit that way and walk down the hillside, past the old city wall, which takes you into the city centre.

Use the lift (free for over 65s) ! We've been up to the Castillo 3 times, so it is well worth a visit.
Don't try to walk down on the walls as the end is blocked, as we discovered to our detriment.

Perfect location right next to Mercado Central, next to Santa Cruz neighboorhood, 15 min away from the beach and harbour, 20-25 min hike to Santa Barbara castle. 5 min away from Plaza Lyceros and the central commercial area. The apartment itself is outstanding: sparkling clean, spacious, in a quite and clean building, modern and tastefully decorated. It is equipped with everything you need: ac, washing machine, iron, kitchenware. I loved that you have many closets for keeping clothes.
Modern decor, spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed. Location is excellent. We were able to come and go during the daytime. Close to beach, on a beautiful street in the old town, with amazing view of Santa Barbara Castle. Easy access using codes and a lift to the apartment on 3rd floor.
Brilliant location - approx a 10 minute walk to the beach and situated close by to Santa Barbara Castle, meaning it wasn't too far to get to the top at all. 15 minute stroll to the old town. Lovely balcony area with a scenic view. Beds incredibly comfy and hotel very clean. Breakfast buffet had a lot of choice and variation. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool use and sunbathing area also good to have (though we didn't use this). Approx €25 in a taxi to the airport.
We were a group of six ladies and the apartment was comfortable enough for all of us. Alicante is a small town, so basically all is at walking distance but even so - the location of the apartment is really good. Some very nice restaurants and cafes close by, supermarkets, bakeries. We had a lovely terrace with amazing view to the Santa Barbara Castle, especially at night when the fortress is illuminated it is beautiful.
The apartments are comfortable, equipped with everything you need and even more. There is a dishwasher and washing machine, IPTV. Santa Barbara Castle and the Archaeological Museum, as well as shops, are within walking distance. The beach is a 15 minute walk. Everything fully corresponds to the description of these apartments.
Excellent location and views of the sea and beach. Close to everything. Yes swimming pool is shaded alot of the time but that worked for my kids and limited their UV exposure. It would be better if heated though. Room service good. Recommend the hotels dinner and rock event as you get dinner by the pool with night time views of the beach and the santa barbara castle mountain all lit up plus the night time sea.

Generally we were satisfied with the stay and the things that weren't so great could be very easily improved.
Cute apartment in peacful neighborhood, located 20 min of walk from the city center, 10 min from the city beach Postiguet and Santa Barbara castle, supermarket Mercadona is 2 min away, bus statiotions for the local buses are extremly near, also C-6 bus for the airport stops nearby. There are also many restaurants near the place with local or international cuisine
