Exceptional Stay — 5/5 Stars!
From the moment I arrived, I knew this hotel was something special. The attention to detail, warmth of the staff, and overall ambiance exceeded all my expectations.
Service: The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Every interaction was met with a smile, and they were always ready to assist with any request, big or small. It felt like they genuinely cared about making my stay unforgettable.
Cleanliness: Impeccable! Every space — from the lobby to the room — was spotless. The fresh scent and perfectly arranged rooms made it feel like I was the first guest to ever stay there.
Dining: The food was a culinary masterpiece. Each dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor. Breakfasts were delightful, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options.
Comfort: The room was a sanctuary. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the modern amenities made everything feel luxurious. The view from the window was breathtaking and a perfect way to start the day.
Location: Perfectly situated for both relaxation and exploration. Everything I needed was either within walking distance or a short ride away.
I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. If you're looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and world-class service, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!
Highly recommended! 10/10!

Staffs was so kind. Especially, YOUSSEF kindly helped us to find our losing phone. (We left a phone in the taxi…)
He managed to find our phone for almost an hour and finally we found that.
We couldn’t speak Arabic so he contacted instead of us. In addition, we gave him tip but he rejected many times. He was truly kind to us not for tips.
So nice stay in this hotel!
Thank you very much, Youssef!

It is quite large and needs a couple of hours.
It is quite large and needs a couple of hours. Do't spend so much time downstairs that you are too tired to see upstairs, which is very interesting. The museum itself is a bit old and some things have already been taken to the new museum which should be opening in Giza next year. You will be approached by guides who want to show you round. I would say that you don't really need one the first time you go. I would look around first and then, if you want to know more then hire one. Some guides are good but others do not tell you much more than what you can read for yourself. Remember to haggle as they will start high

Try your best to avoid during peak hours when you have tourist coming in you'll be stuck to have a look at the amazing artificial they show on display. Get your self a guide as the information written before the exhibit does little justice for the artifact your looking at. A Good Egyptologist will not only you it's importance but give you alot of back story and guide you which exhibits to taken in and which ones cam he given a miss

See it whilst you can.
See it whilst you can. One of the world's great museums, we visited four times and once you get to know it, it's wonderful. It's also frustrating, quirky, and old fashioned - but that's part of the charm. Worth digging into properly.

Just visiting the Tuthankhamon treasures is worth a visit to this museum. Absolutely breathtaking. You will also find many treasures, sculptures, canopic vases and furniture that would be stored inside the burial chambers of the pharaohs.

Can it pass any standards of Museum?
Can it pass any standards of Museum? It has most precious collection in the world. What does the staff do if they cannot even provide labels to artifacts ? You feel like crying looking at it not because it is overstuffed but because it shows no one cares about heritage including the the whole ministry of of Antiquities. They have made the case of return of antiquities to country of origin very weak. Will I come again ,NEVER.

Crown hotel is at a very central location of downtown Cairo but on a street that isn’t as busy as the main ones. Walking distance to the Egyptian museum and Khan al khalili. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable! The breakfast was great and the also offered free bottles of water (first time this occurs to me in Egypt!) and amazing mango juice upon arrival! The staff was very nice and accommodating. We surely recommend this place!
I stayed with my family at Champollion Hostel this autumn, in spite of a short stay, the place left us a very good impression. It is in the Downtown in Cairo (very close to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square) in a charming building. The hostel is very clean, staff was very friendly, room was great. And very good value for money! We wholeheartedly recommend it.
The atmosphere in a hostel is perfectly “right”. Clean bathroom. Great location in a city centre close to the Egyptian museum. City view from a balcony was nice.
Amazing place with a boutique hotel feeling. 3 exquisite rooms with open kitchen to use and big living room. Central location in walking distance from the shopping street and the Egyptian museum. The 6th floor is relatively quiet and gets a lot of sunlight. The sunny balcony in the morning is especially nice. Breakfast was as expected. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. Fully recommend to experience Cairo!
This hotel is at the heart of the city, literally a 10 minute walk from the Egyptian Museum. The staff was really kind and nice. The facilities and breakfast were good for the price.
The staff (particularly Shimaa, Nada, and Faten) were very hospitable and helped us with any questions we had! We really enjoyed the free breakfast which included a freshly-made tea or coffee. The view of Cairo and proximity to The Egyptian Museum were great bonuses! Since the hostel is on the 15th floor, we also appreciated that there was an elevator. The building itself is a bit outdated, but the lobby and rooms were clean.
I had a fantastic stay at Cairo Dream Boutique Hotel! The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all my requests. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to the day. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo on a budget!
