It is elegant , quiet and calm , slightly more orientated to business clientele which we preferred , although it is ideally located for visits to the Grand Museum and The Pyramids for tourists . It was a perfect location for our mixed age group of family and friends who were celebrating a significant birthday along with visiting the major attractions of New Giza . The service and accommodation were outstanding .

It is quite large and needs a couple of hours.
It is quite large and needs a couple of hours. Do't spend so much time downstairs that you are too tired to see upstairs, which is very interesting. The museum itself is a bit old and some things have already been taken to the new museum which should be opening in Giza next year. You will be approached by guides who want to show you round. I would say that you don't really need one the first time you go. I would look around first and then, if you want to know more then hire one. Some guides are good but others do not tell you much more than what you can read for yourself. Remember to haggle as they will start high

Try your best to avoid during peak hours when you have tourist coming in you'll be stuck to have a look at the amazing artificial they show on display. Get your self a guide as the information written before the exhibit does little justice for the artifact your looking at. A Good Egyptologist will not only you it's importance but give you alot of back story and guide you which exhibits to taken in and which ones cam he given a miss

If you are interested in History, even a little bit of it, take a guide from the entrance of the museum. Some of the main things will be covered by them and you can roam freely looking at things afterwards

See it whilst you can.
See it whilst you can. One of the world's great museums, we visited four times and once you get to know it, it's wonderful. It's also frustrating, quirky, and old fashioned - but that's part of the charm. Worth digging into properly.

Just visiting the Tuthankhamon treasures is worth a visit to this museum. Absolutely breathtaking. You will also find many treasures, sculptures, canopic vases and furniture that would be stored inside the burial chambers of the pharaohs.

Can it pass any standards of Museum?
Can it pass any standards of Museum? It has most precious collection in the world. What does the staff do if they cannot even provide labels to artifacts ? You feel like crying looking at it not because it is overstuffed but because it shows no one cares about heritage including the the whole ministry of of Antiquities. They have made the case of return of antiquities to country of origin very weak. Will I come again ,NEVER.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful . The location of hotel is close to restaurants and the egyptian museum is about a 4 minute walk from the hotel ,excellent location . There is always security at the hotel. Laundry and room service was excellent as well.
The hotel is located very close to Tahrir Square, making it easy to move around the main attractions of the city. The Egyptian museum is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room is clean and quite comfortable for a short stay. The room has a balcony with a city view and it's possible to have breakfast there. The guys at the reception, Abdullah and Mohammed, are very nice and friendly and they gave me precious tips and suggestions for my stay in Cairo. I would definitely book here again.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The location is stunning with a fantastic view of Tahir Square and moments away from the Egyptian Museum which is a MUST, but the actual hotel is very elegant in old world Egyptian charm and very well maintained. The internet was sketchy but I saw that they are upgrading .
The front desk manager was very kind at all times and went pout of his way to make one feel welcome
All in all a fantastic place to stay in Cairo, will definitely return.
Extremely friendly staff, ready to help at anytime. Excellent location close to Tahrir Sq and the Egyptian museum. Delicious breakfast! The hotel felt like home.
The hotel was very good. The location is excellent, next to the Egyptian Museum and close to many tourist places. The staff are good and arranged enjoyable tourist tours for us. The breakfast is good.
It's a really good hotel and the location is amazing It is located downtown near the Egyptian museum and El Hossein and really many other places, and it is easy to find the hotel.
The staff are really helpful and very nice♥️
If anyone asks me about a hotel in Cairo I will recommend this hotel.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is very clean, modern & safe. It’s at a great location - 10 mins walk to the Egyptian museum. They arranged an airport transfer and upgraded our room for a great price.
The best hostel in Cairo, a clean and comfortable place with a wonderful staff that supports and guides you in everything you need, with a beautiful terrace and a very delicious breakfast. A few steps from Tarhir Square, the Egyptian museum, the metro to the Coptic neighborhood is three blocks away. We felt very comfortable in the hostel as women. Sara and Ola love you.
I loved everything about the accommodation. It is a beautiful and comfortable hotel with all the amenities, located in a central area just a short walk from the Egyptian Museum and the Nile. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Without a doubt, if we return to Cairo, we will stay at this hotel again
The hotel was at the Tahrir Square at Cairo wich is a perfect place if you want to get around the city center (especially the egyptian museum and other sights). The room was really luxuries and had everything you could possibly need. We were welcomed with a big smile and some mint tea by the receptionist during our stay. We would definitely recommend.
