Everything about our stay was awesome. Room spacious, bed comfortable and room’s sauna was perfect.
Location is ideal. Not in town but nearby. With plenty of hiking trails - just outside the door - to choose from.
Breakfast and dinner were varied and great. Most of all, staff were caring and helpful. Would love to come back.

Wow! We were blow away by this mountain village. We needed a place to stay for one evening to cut the drive from Switzerland to Munich. Oberstdorf is like something from a movie set... in fact some of the movie scenes from Eddie the Eagle were filmed here. The hotel is in the heart of the pedestrian zone yet provides on-site parking which is a huge bonus. We were surprised to learn the hotel restaurant was Michelin star rated. We had dinner and breakfast--both were amazing. The rooms have been recently renovated and are super nice. Staff was above & beyond.
