Wonderfully friendly and warm atmosphere, we were made to feel truly welcome. I would like to say it was like staying with my family, but my family are not that nice!!!
Well at least, my family do not cook as well. Breakfast and evening meals were always excellent and we highly recommend taking the half-board option as the food excels expectations.
We are going back again, soon.
The Schwarzwaldgasthaus Salenhof is very quietly located in Schwärzenbach, the highest part of Titisee-Neustadt. It offers hearty Black Forest hospitality, far from any noise or traffic.

I visited this property for a 3 rd time now only because of the location. I. My first visit the staff was entirely different quite warm in Bavarian dresses serving amazing food at dinner and a tastier and vast spread of breakfast.
That is why I took along my friend once in June and another in Sept 2024.
I was highly disappointed both times seeing the lethargic approach in customer service and a minimalist breakfast
Espresso for me as a vegetarian there were lesser options
Earlier cut fresh fruits were served on all days now they are limited to Sundays I guess as I didn’t get them on Fri and Saturdays on my both last trips.
Overall the mgmt seems to be cutting corners everywhere which is disappointing

Pension Feldbergblick is superb, from the warm welcome to the superb Breakfasts it is a fabulous base to visit the Black Forest, Cleanliness and facilities are excellent with great wi-fi reception.
The location is wonderful with incredible views and great access to Neustadt, Titisee, Feldberg, Freiberg, Todtnau and all the wonderful Black Forest towns. A (longer) day visit to Switzerland is possible (we went to Grindelwald which was fabulous, and returned via Interlaken).
