The hotel was excellent with friendly staff and good facilities…. Plenty to do nearby, both on the lake and on the hills.. The restaurant was excellent and good value.. And the buffet breakfast was also superb, with good range of choice and quality coffee..

The hotel is located on the river with a stunning view of the castle. The Beer Spa was very relaxing and both the dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The staff are all wonderful. Highly recommend.

Except for the disaster of a check in we really liked the place! It was lovely with a super nice view. Despite everything, I would book again but only directly through the owner so she knows about the booking.
