We only stayed one night. It was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was lively and the food fine. The location was perfect for us as we were breaking a longer train journey. The location is great. I got some great photos overnight from my hotel room down to the lake.
If you are travelling by train and have luggage, consider getting off at Bernina Diavolezza and getting the bus. I believe this is the recommendation for the winter when the path down to the station can be impassable due to snow, but I would recommend it anyway. I'm already planning to go back in the winter.
The food is good and tasty.
Amazing views, really comfortable beds, and a very good breakfast for a berghotel. Excellent location for various hiking plans. A nice souvenir / accessory shop. Cable car ticket (provided at least in 6/22) was a great additional value.
