Great place for parents to relax with kids under 12 yrs old. Comfortable spacious room with a balcony and view. They even included a surprise gift for the kids. Complete breakfast with a kids playroom around the corner. Amazing wellness area and swimming area with kids pool, slide and other things for kids to get excited about! The restaurant was gourmet and there was also a kids area to play so parents can actually enjoy their meal. We walked from the hotel to Engelberg center via a beautiful trail that runs along the river (about 20-30 mins walking). Wifi worked perfectly. Everything was very clean. There is also a camping site with small grocery store in case you need anything at all.
This hotel is located in the centre of Engelberg, next to the train station and a bus stop. It offers free WiFi and a rich buffet breakfast.

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and while there were some wonderful aspects to our stay, there was one significant issue that left us disappointed.
First, the positives: the view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful vistas of the mountains and the city, which made for an incredibly enjoyable experience. The room itself was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a cosy living area and a comfortable bed. Parking was also convenient and easy.
