The staff, food, location and facilities are amazing. When my husband and I arrived at the hotel, we had journeyed from a difficult trek at a mountain hut and were tired. The host was so incredibly friendly omg this is what service should look like!
The hotel had our room ready to check in early and arranged a surprise for us. Because we had a couple tough hikes the previous days, I completely forgot we were in our honeymoon. But as we entered the room, the hotel had rose petals on the bed (I only mentioned to the hotel it was our honeymoon, did not request this). I started crying immediately. That was so nice of them! 🌹🥰
Besides that, their spa is phenomenal! They have so many options of steam and cold plunges, we didn’t have enough time to try it all or even to get a massage.
On top of that, the food was out of this world. Still today, we keep going back to the smoked salmon they served at breakfast. Super high quality food, nothing I’ve been able to purchase at a store in the US.
We spent a couple weeks in Switzerland and this place was #1 on our list. When we had bad weather in Zermatt, we kept wishing we could go back to Stoos.
I recommend staying for at least a few days because there’s so much to do in that area. It’s super challenging to do the entire ridge in one afternoon (if you arrive and checkout the next day so two night minimum) and there’s too much to enjoy at this hotel to be content with two nights. I have absolutely nothing I didn’t like about this property. It’s worth every penny!

Everything was great. special thanks to Julia , she was very helpful in giving direction for the parking and she make sure that I was satisfied with everything and truly I was. Hotel is in the center of this lovely town and everything is 200 m away from you . You don't even need a car .

Nice and helpful staff, attractive site with great views (the "sensual path" around the house is fun), room was clean and had all I needed. The breakfast had some unusual options and was missing some that you'd find elsewhere; overall it was good quality with a spectacular view. Due to glorious Swiss public transport there's a useful bus running every half hour 7 minutes walk away connecting the place to Brunnen Station and an aerial cable car to the mountains (<10 minutes in each direction).

Hotel Eden is in a beautiful location in the village of Sisikon, between Flüelen and Brunnen. Many rooms have decks overlooking Lake Urner and the mountains. The rooms are large by European standards and the hotel even has an elevator. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant has a cozy, enclosed patio, and the food is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful, charming village with the friendliest people! Great access to mountain ridge hikes, amazing views of Lake Lucerne from Fronalpstock (just a gondola ride away) and excellent food at Caschu Alp design Hotel.

Heaven on earth!
Heaven on earth! There are so many options of hiking routes and cycling with picturesque angel at every corner of the town. There were Ski Lifts to take further up the mountain and the experience of that is worth considering.

Fantastic location with the best views imaginable. Staff were warm and friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection and ingredients were excellent. Everywhere was clean and there were plenty of seating area's, especially sun loungers. Spa was very relaxing and not too busy during our May stay, in fact the hotel was surprisingly quiet.
Got a free upgrade from room with a view to room with a balcony.
Highly recommend a stay here, a real gem of a place.
Only possible negative is that as Brits we did missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that is barely worth mentioning as overall the hotel, facilities and views made this a must return location.

We stayed above Stoos at the Gipfelstock hotel (amazing experience up there!), and not directly in Stoos. We did hike down to Stoos and spent time in town, the town is quite sleepy and small and we did not think there was much to do and see directly in town, the restaurant we ate at was overpriced (even for Switzerland) given the quality of the food (sorry forget the name of it, but it is the first one you come across when walking into town from the funicular and is open 365). I imagine it may be more of an exciting town in the winter season and once the new modern hotel is complete. It is a good base for hiking in the area.

Stoos used to be peaceful but modern imo Ill thought out development has changed this place from a haven of peace to an overpriced resort that has lost its charm. It’s still got great walks and views but the get away from it all and unique ambience has been lost.
Highest point of all the hotels and vacation homes on the Stoos - so great views!
Very clean, cozy room (bunk beds are normal here), very clean and modern looking bathroom.
Breakfast selection was okay - all very fresh and well presented.
Very good food from the restaurant - standard kids menu but with extremely high quality (best/freshest chicken nuggets I have every tasted!).
We had a lamb dish the one day and were blown away!
Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and very helpful. We stayed here to celebrate a special day for my wife. Staff contributed to this and made it a very memorable event. There is nothing that i miss in this hotel. The spa and food is excellent and the nature around is breathtaking.
A small, about 10 rooms, family ran hotel, with a tiny very friendly team, clean and quiet as the entire town of Stoos itself. Private space guaranteed. There must be a great cuisine, we didn’t try though. Fair breakfast. Spacious rooms with two balconies. Nice hiking opportunities.
