Excellent hotel in a beautiful location in the middle of Scuol village. It's by foot distance to a supermarket (Volg) and a bus stop which brings you directly to the ski slopes and to Scuol-Tarasp train station in a few minutes. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming, check-in was very smooth and quick. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing and prepared with fresh products, plus the view from the hotel is simply amazing.

Daniel, the hotel manager, was a fabulous host throughout our stay. He upgraded our room since the hotel was not busy. He took the time to give us personal insight into hikes in the area. He educated us about the regional food specialties on the menu. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was outstanding and the service stellar. Villa Post is in a terrific location for hiking in the region, and your stay includes a free pass for the public transport system, including gondolas. Breakfast included a wide variety of items in a gorgeous room.

It was cozy and clean, with great attention to both detail and quality. We also appreciated the welcome gift (a book), the libraries and book-filled dining room - and, of course, the Giacometti downstairs and photographs throughout the pension. The restaurant was also excellent in terms of the dishes and personable service.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace in our junior suite which was spacious, warm, and inviting. Every little detail was thought of from hooks in the right places to enough hangars to coffee pods. The hotel is beautifully decorated, reflecting its long history.
