We loved staying here - it felt like home away from home. The hostess went above and beyond to help us out and we would love to stay here again if we're ever back in town. The breakfast was tasty, too!

B&B Les Acacias, hotel in Le Châble

Providing garden views, B&B Les Acacias in Le Châble features accommodations, a garden, and a terrace. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a shared kitchen.

Wonderful B&B owner is absolutely delightful. Cooked us a delicious dinner with veggies and salad right from her garden. She is a little outside of town and as it was raining and we were hiking the Haute route and tired out she offered to pick us up and drive us to her place. One of our favorite places to stay in Switzerland would definitely come back!

We took the train from Geneva airport, it's a lovely journey around Lake Geneva. Its very easy and relaxing with a change on to a local train to take you up the valley. We stayed there for 4 nights and skied each day. It's not a typical ski resort. It has all you might need, supermarket, pharmacy, boulangerie etc and a few bars and restaurants (no real late night stuff). We had some great food and bars were full of locals and a few skiers. Getting up to Verbier is simple with a lift that runs 05.15-23.45 and takes about 10 minutes. It is only 850m high so has a bottom of the valley vibe, I also imagine it would also be great for the summer.

The Le Chable lift gives direct access to the higher stations in Verbier without having to queue again in Verbier. There is immediate access to the Bruson area which provides a good range of skiing for an afternoon away from Verbier. The Verbier Four Valleys resort is severely limited by access across the system It can take two hours to cross the system to enter a range of drag lifts. The Yellow routes are a major issue. They are reasonably moderate black runs, but as they are off-piste my insurance does not cover them. For this reason alone I will not return to Verbier.

My son and I stayed in Le Châble along our hike across the Haute Route. It's well located before heading east into Col Termin / Louvie and the Grand Desert. It's a small quaint town and a couple of decent grocery stores and restaurants. There is a train connection back to Martigny. Hotels in town offer free passes for the lifts up to Verbier and beyond up into the alpine areas. We were happy with our decision to stay a night here along the way.

Our son lives in the area so we wanted to spend Christmas with his family. We went up the mountains to view the wonderful scenery and also drove around the area. We had a great stay and found several restaurants in the area where we had some great meals. Generally we had a wonderful stay. Verbier was great with great views and meals.

Nice little B and B in a quiet residential street. Maybe 15 minutes walk to the middle of old Le Chable, 10 or so from the railway station/cable car station. You'll need some basic French but the main notes in the room are I'm English too. Comfy rooms opening onto a small terrace/garden with guinea pigs in a run.. Shower room upstairs. Breakfast served on a communal table with homemade breads. Elizabeth will sort out your cable car passes (free for the days you are staying)

Simple bedroom with private bathroom and comfortable bed, and the staff are always friendly. Everything is clean. Conveniently located next to the train station and cable car, it’s the best cost-benefit ratio you can ever find in Verbier. Thank you for meeting the needs for hardcore skier who comes to Verbier for the sport and I am very grateful not needing to pay at least 4x the price for a room up the hill.

The hotel is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Switzerland. The rooms are very well designed, comfortable and well equipped. The balcony allowed us to wake up to an absolutely beautiful view. The staff is wonderful and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and was beyond any expectation we could have had. We hope to return soon.
