Les Acacias is a beautiful chalet with wonderful views. The owner, Annie, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel totally at home . Our bedroom was warm and comfortable and had lots of room for our clothes as well as a great view. Our bathroom was equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast itself was delicious , and being able to use the breakfast room during the day or evening to relax in was an added bonus , as was the owner’s gorgeous cat Felix !

Good hotel and excellent location, right near the centre of Le Châble and close to supermarket, pharmacy, etc. Amazing breakfast, lovely staff. We had a twin room with a shared shower and toilet, both were clean with good water pressure in the shower. Ideal for a one night stay on our Walkers Haute Route holiday.

We took the train from Geneva airport, it's a lovely journey around Lake Geneva. Its very easy and relaxing with a change on to a local train to take you up the valley.
We stayed there for 4 nights and skied each day. It's not a typical ski resort. It has all you might need, supermarket, pharmacy, boulangerie etc and a few bars and restaurants (no real late night stuff). We had some great food and bars were full of locals and a few skiers.
Getting up to Verbier is simple with a lift that runs 05.15-23.45 and takes about 10 minutes.
It is only 850m high so has a bottom of the valley vibe, I also imagine it would also be great for the summer.

The Le Chable lift gives direct access to the higher stations in Verbier without having to queue again in Verbier. There is immediate access to the Bruson area which provides a good range of skiing for an afternoon away from Verbier.
The Verbier Four Valleys resort is severely limited by access across the system It can take two hours to cross the system to enter a range of drag lifts. The Yellow routes are a major issue. They are reasonably moderate black runs, but as they are off-piste my insurance does not cover them. For this reason alone I will not return to Verbier.

My son and I stayed in Le Châble along our hike across the Haute Route. It's well located before heading east into Col Termin / Louvie and the Grand Desert. It's a small quaint town and a couple of decent grocery stores and restaurants. There is a train connection back to Martigny. Hotels in town offer free passes for the lifts up to Verbier and beyond up into the alpine areas. We were happy with our decision to stay a night here along the way.

Our son lives in the area so we wanted to spend Christmas with his family. We went up the mountains to view the wonderful scenery and also drove around the area. We had a great stay and found several restaurants in the area where we had some great meals. Generally we had a wonderful stay. Verbier was great with great views and meals.

Le Chable is perfect if you want to ski the fantastic slopes of Verbier ski area, but you don't want to pay the high prices of food and lodging in Verbier, and you don't mind missing some of the apres ski in Verbier.

Great access to train station and lifts - beat the Medran queues by jumping on the Verbier lift here. Lockers at lift station great. Bakery good, bar opposite also enjoyable. Pizza restaurant excellent, went there three times in two weeks.

Laurance was great. She welcomed us, showed us to our nice room and was willing to help in anything we needed .
This is a nice little hotel, very comfortable and friendly.
I highly recommend, specially for people along the Houte route, as we were.
A lovely view of the snow capped mountains, very clean and comfortable, close by car to Le Chable village. Annie the host was very welcoming and friendly and provided a great breakfast.
A perfect quiet apartment away from the bustle of Verbier, but really easy access to the ski lifts. The owners are kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
