The views of the mountain from the hotel and the village itself is awesome. A small department store is within walking distance. Cable cars going to Schilthorn is also nearby.
We had a junior suite, it was spacious and had good facilities. The balcony is shared by all the rooms. We had the view of the town on one side and of the mountains from another.
We had dinner at the restaurant, there were many vegetarian options and the food was good.
The Edelweiss hotel can be found in calm surroundings, a 4-minute walk away from the train station in the car-free village of Wengen. The hotel offers cosy rooms and free WiFi.

- The staff was great! Made the most to make us feel like home (which is also the motto of the place, as we understood :) ), and gave us recommendations and guidance how to spend our time in the area
- The dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and very well priced for the location. the chef accommodated my dietary requirements (transformed the 4-course meal into a vegetarian one), which was super tasty and featured cuisine from that and nearing areas. Would recommend to book!

Excellent location for meals with the mountains. We took the rooms facing the street, but were pleased to have breakfast facing the mountains. The service team was just excellent — very warm and welcoming with great service attitude (I come from the service industry, so I appreciate the effort). Everything was clean and comfy, and breakfast was good too. We had dinner on the deck one evening and it was just unforgettable — view and the food.
