Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely: very spacious, nice sized fridge and microwave, modern, clean, bed was very comfortable with ample pillows, and there were enough towels. The breakfast was adequate as well and the food was fresh. It was nice to have underground parking as well for my car.

This was a family trip. When we arrived we were 7 floors from our children. The first person checked us in and couldn’t find us a room on the same floor as our children. This ruined our trip before it even began. We checked in and went down stairs our children were very upset as were we. As that meant come 7 pm when our grandchildren went to bed. That was the end of the night for all. So I waited until the First person that checked us in left and asked another very helpful, friendly person. They made a few adjustments and got us on the same floor as our kids. This just changed the way our entire trip was going to go.:)we were very thankful for your staff member to do that for us.

Owned and operated by the City of Edmonton, the fort is a restored colonial building and items with a functioning hotel make this a great experience. A summertime visit with planned activities going on is probably the best time to go.
