We loved our stay here. Fantastic location - right in the heart of Old Quebec City, and walking distance to so many cafes, restaurants and shops. Our room was small, but very comfortable, with lots of special touches that we appreciated. The hotel is great inside; stylish, clean. Very helpful and kind staff, too.

Classy accommodation in a beautiful part of Quebec.

Position, quality, ambience, helpfulness of staff.
I like the concept of this hotel. By European standards the rooms are actually quite large, even without the bed lifted up to the ceiling. We liked the camaraderie of the shared kitchen, every one got along and we were able to prepare some pretty good breakfasts. The location was great, right in the center of the old town, walking distance to the railway station and the Citadel.
The location was excellent! It was close to many restaurants and shopping. Added bonus, if you are in to Quebec's military history its located in walking steps to La Citadelle. Very clean hotel, staff was very friendly.
Corner suite! Had big windows in two directions with views, and only purchased the basic room! Room was great. Great location, walking distance to the citadel, old town, train station, everything we wanted. Great brunch restaurant on main floor (costs extra).
Amazing service from the staff the moment we walked in through the door. Pleasantly surprised that we were presented with a free 3-day bus pass for Quebec City courtesy of the hostel. The location of the hostel is absolutely wonderful, and close to many tourist locations like the Citadelle, the Plains of Abraham, and Dufferin Terrace. Booked a room for me and my friend, beds were comfortable, although space in the room was limited. Very recommended for those who would like to visit the city!
The location was great, it was possible to see the the city on foot (ex. District of Old Quebec, Citadelle de Quebec, L’avenue Cartier s’illuminate with 34 new lampshades).
Although part of the hotel is undergoing renovations, the room was spacious, had a sofa and was clean.
Breakfast was à la carte, with several choices, good quality/price. In this case a positive point against waste.
The location and character of the hotel are exceptional; it is located in a heritage row facing the Chateau Frontenac beside the Jardin des Gouverneurs which overlooks the St Laurent River.
My attractive little room on the top floor had a modern shower-bathroom and a deck looking towards the Citadel.
I was looking for a more budget-friendly place to stay at than the recommended hotel for my conference held at La Citadelle.
This was among the closest and all was as advertised. Marjorie & Cloé made my experience live up to the positive reviews and Lonely Planet recommendation.
