Superb boutique hotel with extraordinary views, well-appointed spaces and lovely, helpful, well-organised staff. A peaceful refuge in the fresh hilltop air above Rio, the hotel offers a great, varied breakfast freshly made to order and easy access via reasonably priced taxis to downtown, beaches and other attractions. The infinity pool by the honesty bar overlooking the pão de açucar and overlooked by the Corcovado is a magical place to refresh after a day in the city.
Everything, but particularly the incredible panoramic view of Rio (including the Sugar Loaf and the Corcovado Christ) from both the room and the restaurant terraces; and also the exceptional kindness and help of the owner and his staff. I found the place by accident when extending my stay in Rio after a tiring conference and it was a heavenly rest for two days. It was a serendipitous discovery and the price/quality ratio is remarkable. Very nicely located in picturesque Santa Teresa district. Copious breakfast and simple but good menu.
The view… was just amazing. You have a beautiful view of dois hermoes and the beach from one side, Corcovado and as far as the sugar loaf from the other. A spectacular view over Rio. Very close to the beach, and to the metro, a nice supermarket just metres away, and many good restaurants within 5 minutes and even more just 10 minutes away. The owner Francisco is such a nice gentleman, very kind and nice to talk to.
The location is ok, near the Corcovado and the Botafogo shopping. It has a Pharmacy and a supermarket besides.

A pleasant little hotel in one of the best locations. Iconic view, safe neighborhood, super helpful owner, good breakfast. The location is full of positive energy, there are many pleasant bars and restaurants nearby. The waterfront is always full of young people having fun. Botafogo bay with sailboats, Sugarloaf literally within reach, Corcovado with Christ in every shot.
Good view over the city and located near the Corcovado and Christ the redeemer. Bit far to the beaches, but great bar area with pool on the top. Mattresses are super simple, but works.
