Excellent place to stay if you are visiting any of the World War 1 locations. The hotel has a very interesting history and is adjacent to the Hooge crater museum.
For us it was a much better option than staying in Ypres itself
Our room was on the ground floor and it was excellent, comfortable bed, and great shower over the bath.

We had dinner in the restaurant on a Monday night; Small menu but excellent quality.
Everything was great. Breakfast was excellent. Staff spoke English very well. Trenches in the hotel grounds, two minutes from Sanctuary Wood, Hooge crater museum next door. As we were visiting to see First World War stuff, this place was amazing. Memorabilia all around the hotel.
Definitely coming back.
