Everything! The service, staff, rooms, smell, food, location. Each time I stay at this hotel I have the most wonderful experience. One of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
Boasting a shared lounge, a restaurant as well as a bar, The Australian Heritage Hotel is situated in the centre of Sydney, 1.3 km from The Royal Botanic Gardens.
Great location, friendly staff, amazing lounge area
Cafe's awesome. Staff very helpful. Room was spacious for our family. Ensuite was convenient and clean. Walking distance to the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay and great food.
Also loved the archeological site downstairs!
The location was awesome, a few steps from circular quay. We upgraded the room for $70 to have the most awesome view of the harbour bridge. It made our trip so special! The furnishings are tired but so nostalgic, we really didn’t mind. I had a swim in the pool which was lovely, I would have loved a sauna but it was broken unfortunately. This is such an iconic hotel I hope they don’t renovate the character away. I would recommend this hotel for the view, comfort and nostalgia. It’s so handy to everything
Spacious clean executive room with amazing views of the harbour bridge and Sydney opera house. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and the staff were amazing too.
The hotel was located very close to the Harbour Bridge and The Rocks which was great. Check is was good, and out of the 3 rooms booked 2 were close. The room was lovely, and a good size. The bathroom was great. But the view, which looked directly into Darling Harbour, was fantastic! There was a window seat right across the very large window. Breakfast was included and was exceptional! We had a corner table which looked from Darling Harbour, the Harbour Bridge to the Heads of Sydney Harbour. Doesn't get better than that!
Fantastic views of the Harbour Bridge especially as we were there whilst the Vivid Light show was on
Good selection of Cafes and restaurants close by
Easy walk to Ferry or the the train station
The location is second to none. The views of the harbour bridge room were great, however there was partial obstruction from another building next to the harbour. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would recommend the location
