Broome Time Resort, hotel in Broome

Centrally located on the Broome Peninsula, Broome Time Resort offers self-contained accommodations with a flat-screen TV and DVD player.

Breakfast each day was wonderful, and gave us the opportunity to mingle with other guests and talk about travels and experiences. The room was beautifully air conditioned and instructions to leave the a/c on while absent was really useful in the tropical weather. We had a family room, which meant that our daughter could have the bedroom and we had the bed in the living area, which was handy for our night time trips to the toilet. The pool was just lovely, and it was relaxing to sit with our feet in the water after a big day out.

We had a couple of days in Broome on the way to the Kimberleys. Very interesting history and loved Cable Beach. Food was excellent at Cable Beach restaurant and you must go and have a ginger beer at Matso’s Brewery.

The weather was perfect, humid days and balmy nights. The atmosphere of cable beach was contagious it made you feel good. Food was outstanding, Matsu, Spinifex, cable beach, so many awesome restaurants. Willie Creek Pearl tour was a high light, Big Stu was our tour guide, he was a goldmine of information. So much to see and do it’s an all ages destination, 4 days was definitely not enough time to fit it all in. We are already looking forward to our next trip up to Broome and exploring the areas we didn’t get to.

Broome is very spread out and if you are staying only a couple of days you definitely need a car to access the shops and beaches. The jetty and town beach are interesting, and the museum is a must see. The markets are good for food and quality textiles, and cable beach and Gantheaume point are beautiful at sunset. The open air cinema is a treat, and they have the best ever choc top ice cream

We stayed 4 days in Broome basically waiting for the Staircase to the Moon. The Staircase happens at Town Beach and it's really crowded. There's a public bus you can catch from Cable Beach to Town Beach. Go on the first night of the Staircase and there's a market with some stalls and food. We hired a car for 2 days and tried to find the dinosaur tracks. This could have been an interesting experience but the signage for the tracks was non existent. We only know about it as we happened to stumble upon a single brochure at the Visitors Centre otherwise we didn't know about it. Broome itself is nothing much and is dirty, untidy and neglected. It's essentially a stop for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and back packers looking for work, living out of their mobile homes which are in public car parks. Broome needs a good broom!

The reception staff Alison and Elliot were super helpful, professional and friendly. Alison went above and beyond to assist with our tour bookings. The location was perfect, walking distance to Cable Beach. Safe parking and good facilities inside the unit, including a washing machine and dryer. We would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Broome.

FrLoved the accommodation which is located near Cable Beach in BROOME. Loved the setting which has lovely palms outside our apartment as well as the separate lounge and kitchen area away from bedroom and bathroom area. I also loved having a washing machine in the room which makes it easy doing the laundry.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a large bathroom. We had a very restful sleep after a very long trip. The Kimberley Sands was in a good location between Cable Beach and Broome town centre because it was on the Broome Shuttle Bus circuit.
