Nice place just a few steps from the Talstation of the Dachtein Gletscherbahn. The rooms are OK, but overall the furnishing of the hotel is rather from the 80s/90s. I would expect a little bit more for the price.

Nice traditional style hotel in a great landscape.
Beautiful small town in a very scenic area. Several good restaurants and an excellent vegetarian cafe. Awesome hiking and skiing, both alpine and cross country. Close to Schladming for anything else you might need.

Ramsau is amazing, beautiful scenery, many restaurants and attractions, especially for kids. The local Erlebnisbad (aquacenter) is amazing, nearby Rittisberg is absolutely wonderful for kids. Many lifts closeby within a short driving distance, the Dachstein main lift basically right in Ramsau.

Very good location with plenty of choices if you like hiking, ferrata (klettersteig in Germain), running, or skiing. I stayed here with 10year old daughter and we could find lots of activities together and she liked it as I did.

if u want to visit it u need to book your Gondola seat (ascent and descent) at this website https://www.derdachstein.at
for an extra it is possible to visit also the ice palace! it is very interesting! inside u can find many ice sculptures!
but pay attention because if u want to visit it u need to cross the suspended bridge! and if you suffer from vertigo ... but it is a unique experience!!!

During our stay, we visited Rittisberg coaster, Silberkar watterfalls and finally magnificient Dachstein. It was all great, lots of hiking trails. Just be careful - it's nearly impossible to buy anything anywhere on Sunday and restaurants are closing usually around 18pm. Otherwise we liked everything!

Several restaurants with excellent typical austrian food, but kitchen closes usually at 20.30h latest. Stunning panorama when good weather, amazing views onto Dachstein mountain. Plenty of walking and hiking tours available, including climbing. Prices are comparable to Germany, so not a cheap location but worth the money.

One of the best hotels I have ever booked in 10 years of using Booking.com.
This place is mentally good. It's a family run business and you can see it on every detail. We paid the same price as for another B&B hotel in Cortina and we have received service like kings. The spa is mind-blowing. And hearing the thunderstorm while bathing in a bio pool. This is just a gem. Definitely taking my family and coming back every time I visit Dachstein.
The location was absolutely perfect, we could easily hike around the area. Overall, I believe that it was the best place for us to stay at, even better than being down in the town centre. We could easily reach the hotel by a public bus (960). The staff is super friendly and helpful, we were very happy with everything. If we would return to Dachstein, we would happily stay there again. :)
We didn't expect anything special from this hotel, except for the mountain view!
The room is a good two-room, a little old but it has its own charm.

Fantastic family hotel close to Schladming and Planai ski slopes. Catering was delicious every day, spa facilities nice and clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and staff very friendly. Also views from the hotel are stunning. Definitely a place to return.
The Hotel features a beautiful location, magnificent view right at the Dachstein on one side and the valley the other side. It has a very nice wellness area with great view as well. The staff is very friendly and all is clean.
