Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful particularly Hana who helped us find amazing bun cha 🫶. Our suite was spotlessly clean, comfy and spacious. Great to have a second room for our daughter. Loved that we could open balcony double glazed windows to hear hustle and bustle (but also close again to become really quiet when it got too crazy!). The location of the hotel is the best. You literally have to walk for 3-5 minutes to reach places like Lake Hoan Kiem, Beer Street, Shopping areas, most popular Cafes & Restaurants. We even walked to the Train Street!
The rooms are extremely clean, not too spacious but good enough to stay comfortably.
Breakfast was good, a lot of Vietnamese & other options that you can choose from. The restaurant is nice, we spent at least 1 hour there everyday.

We stayed in the old quarter and it was all of the above.
We only stayed 2 nights but we had a fantastic time wandering round the old quarter, particularly at night.
The night market and beer street are a must visit.
Be prepared though as it is very busy and dodging scooters becomes 2nd nature.

good links to travel to places like Ha Long Bay. I'd recommend Happy Travel shop for booking experiences and sim cards. We used them for our sim cards and didnt have a single problem for a month. Additionally for a day tour to Ha Long Bay as well as a 4 day trip around Hai Giang Loop.

We did a 2 day and 1 night boat trip in the Bay......it was fantastic! Beautiful scenery, nice people and very relaxing! Activities and food were nice.. I recommend doing this if you visit Hanoi.. I wish we could have spent more time exploring Vietnam!

What an incredible resilient city! Such poise with the people of Hanoi who just get up and get on with it. Even in the slum areas, this is the heart of the people of Hanoi. I am definitely coming back.
Hotel was very clean and much more luxurious than others we had stayed in in Hanoi.
The staff were all very helpful, and helped us with any questions about the area, organised our late night airport taxis, and booked a very last minute day trip for us that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
Buffet breakfast was good and there was a decent selection, though not the best we had in Vietnam it does the job.
Hotel was in a great location right on the centre of Old Quarter, and felt very safe and we felt taken care of.
The hotel is fantastic. Our room had a small window and this is a luxury in Hanoi old quarter. The location is perfect, the room was super clean and QUIET, the bed really comfy and the staff was welcoming. Special mention to Justin who made us feel super special. The lady at the reception gave us the best recommendation for Bun Cha. Unfortunaly we couldn't have breakfast because we left too early, and the staff made sure that we had some food to take away. Just brilliant.
We stayed in Lake View Hotel & Travel twice already, and are coming back for our last night in Vietnam.

Amazing stay at the silk flower hotel in Hanoi, great location tucked away in an alley in the old quarter. Rooms are great and well priced, all staff members were absolutely amazing and accommodating and I would like to give a special shout out to David, Hannah, Lucas and Caryln for being the best people we could have asked for. Will definitely be back.
The breakfast was very tasty and we had a good choice of foods. The staff was kind and the also arranged a transfer to Sapa for us. The service is fine. Te best thing of this hotel is the location, in the heart of the Old Quarter of Hanoi
