Located opposite the railway station; You just cross one street.
The Green Hotel and the Chance Hotel are located next to each other. Please note: On Google Map, both hotels were swapped on the map.
I stayed twice in the Green Hotel. Once with a fellow traveller and after his departure another night alone.
I also stayed one night in the Chance Hotel. My preference between both hotels clearly goes to the Green Hotel.
Both of my rooms in this hotel were very quiet.
The rooms were very neat and had, in addition to the bed, a sofa and a chair.
Also a kettle, coffee and tea. A water dispenser is located in the hallway.
In one room I had a very large shower space. In the other room a regular shower cubicle.
In the room there was one light that I couldn't turn off ... So I pulled out the access card 😊
The unusually low ceiling was strange.
The breakfast was good but the options were somewhat more limited than in other hotels during this Taiwan trip.
The Enterpriser Hotel features non-smoking rooms with both free Wi-Fi and free parking. Staff at the tour desk can assist with chargeable airport shuttle and trip arrangements.

- A great place to enjoy the local Taiwanese food, especially from the local eateries and various night markets around the city.
- A range of department stores and malls such as SOGO, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Taroko Mall for avid shoppers.
- The public transport system here is not as well developed and convenient, with public bus frequencies being quite irregular and often unreliable. However, it is still possible to travel around to places located near the more reliable MRT system or via private hire, such as Uber.

Nice place to visit, but dont expect on MRT as there is only 1 line provided, but their bus services are good, so goggle map is very much needed. Nice place, nice people. I dont comments which place of Taichung is nice as it depending on individual point of view.

Taichung is such a mix of old and modern.
Taichung is such a mix of old and modern. There are loads of small local shops to visit and the town is easy to navigate by Google Maps. It is nice to walk the main street at night with all the light on the buildings. Everything is generally reasonably priced but there are a lot of higher end shops and restaurants if you are planning a group or family dinner. Taxis are easy to get but make an effort to use Google Translate or other communication device. Also learn a few of the customs before you go and a couple of good words like Thank You etc. There are a lot of cultural places to go to (Arts, Histoy etc.)

Taichung's traffic is bad after 4pm.
Taichung's traffic is bad after 4pm. Probably because almost everyone drives since there is only one MRT line. Uber is not too bad, but not cheap as compared to many South East Area countries. Avoid taking the yellow taxis, they charge by meter even if it is hailed by Uber. The drivers seem to route around to earn the extra mile for charging us.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Taichung
The hotel is located just opposite the Taichung train station (not HSR). Not noisy at all though they provided ear buds. Within walking distance to 7-11, Family Mart and even Miyahara! Even the toilet has a bidet! Hotel also has coin washing machines and dryers in the basement. Excellent!
Nearby to Taichung Station. There are several Indo food restaurants and halal restaurant too. Easy access to attraction nearby by bus.
Big room and big bathroom. Lift direct to hotel lobby.
I've beeing staying in this hotel everytime I visited TaiChung. Recommended to many friends and they too love the environment of the hotel as well as the services. keep it up.
