Around 30 minutes by ferry boat from Kaş is the Greek island of Kastelórizo served by a Turkish/Greek ferry daily with the option of same day returns. The sea is very beatiful and some beaches such as Kaputaş and Patara should be seen.

Kas is a favorite place in Turkey. I visited there 6 times in a year. A small paradise, calm town for an ideal holiday. Many beaches, convenient location from other cities and beautiful views. Having visited Kas once, it is impossible not to fall in love with this place. Everyone should definitely see this place at least once.

Lovely locals feeling town. Tourists welcomed but the village did not seem overally commercialised. Lots of amazing food resteraunts. Snorkelling was great but beware no sandy beaches within walking distace!

Kas is a small town with a great mix Turkish and foreign visitors. Its a 2.5 hour trip from the main airport in Dalaman on relatively easy roads. Numerous restaurants cater for all needs and budgets. Many hotels are close enough to the town centre to easily walk in and back. Kas is
a tourist destination so some prices do reflect that business, however the exchange rate is favourable to the overseas visitor which means that meals can still be bought cheaper than eating out at home.

Kas is a jewel of a place and we have visited many times. Returning again and again to enjoy its relaxing atmosphere, traditional qualities, excellent food ,lovely people and views to die for this time we were disappointed. It has become much much busier and the average age of the visitor has changed and it now attracts a much younger clientele. This unfortunately has lead to it becoming much noisier and the places we have always enjoyed visiting now have loud music blaring out all day and night totally ruining the tranquility and relaxation we go there for.
This beautiful jewel of the turquoise coast has been tarnished and probably changed forever. It is unlikely that we will return.

Kas is a lively town.
Kas is a lively town. It’s main harbour is surrounded by a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops, backed by towering hills. Swimming is available from 3 accessible beaches and hotel-owned swimming platforms, all with sun beds. Day trips are available to local places of interest as a dive boats.
The town can get very busy in the main July/August holiday season. It’s a popular place. The drive from Antalya or Dalaman is long (around 4 and 3 hours respectively) and the coast roads are winding. Book a transfer or taxi if you are of nervous disposition when it comes to driving!
Loved the Medusa hotel, our first time in Turkey. The location was perfect for us, not right in the centre where all the restaurants and bars were, so was nice and quiet but we was only a 5 min walk into the main square, which was great! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, gave us plenty of advice for days out we was planning. The decking where the sun loungers are was lovely and the staff came and took drink and food orders and brought them down to us, food was lovely and cocktails fab!!
Fantastic place. This is Turkey agroturismo premium level. Free range chickens take a new meaning at this country house. Only minutes away from Kas this is a place of peace and tranquillity. sumptuous local organic breakfast is exceptional. Car is necessary.

This hotel is absolutely my favorite in Turkey! It is so artistic and so colorful, we were just mind blown by how beautifully decorated and beautifully situated, it literally takes you 2 minutes walking to reach the most lively street in Kas!
Not to forget the super delicious breakfast they serve.
Small hotel in great location. Fairly close to the centre but very quiet at night time. Bed very comfy. Breakfasts delicious .... best during our tour of Turkey. Hotel is new and nicely decorated. All very clean and staff on hand for any queries we had. Thanks for a great stay
