There is plenty to see and do in Bodrum, whether it be a visit to the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world or the excellent museum of Bodrum Castle, itself possessing a fascinating history. You can walk the old city walls, visit the old windmills for a panoramic view out across the Adriatic to Kos, or see the classical amphitheater. There is also plenty to see in the markets and shopping to suit all budgets.
Boat-trips to wonderful crystal-clear swimming spots, to the classical ruins of Ephasus, to the travertines of Pamukkale are all available from here. And the weather is so stable that you could just laze around in the sunshine.

Liked what we saw, glad we stayed on the waterfront. Was worth paying a bit extra. Could walk to everything as we only had 1 full day - no time to go further. Really happy with our stay. World class underwater museum ;)

The historical sites and information gave an important new perspective on the history of Bodrum/Halicarnassos and its links to the Middle East, Egypt, mainland Greece and also Mesopotamia since 2000 BC. The economical and cultural development of the area was just amazing.
We were aware of The Mausoleum and the Theatre but not the riches exposed within the walls of the castle.

Hotel was all inclusive, which we had not understood when we booked. Breakfast was good with different options of salads, lovely freshly made omelets, tea and coffee. We were never there for lunch. Swimming pool was very welcome in the hot weather. Hotel was thankfully not in Bodrum, and was quiet. Parking was a challenge but always achievable with patience. The belly dancer was a real bonus and great fun to watch and have a go yourself!
I really enjoyed my short stay at Merih Butik. My room was lovely with probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in Turkey. The situation is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the beach and shops, but nice and quiet at night. Jen is a great host, welcoming and looking after her guests very well. I really enjoyed talking with her. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when I stay in Bodrum town in future.
Nice pool, they let us use all inclusive from 9am in the morning when we came and the room was ready at 11am, so it was very nice, and let us have a late check out at 2pm:)
We like checking different hotels, so we did and in the end we came back to this one as best big pool and nice spacious rooms too:)
A little lovely hotel in a perfect location in a quieter part of Bodrum city centre. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool is a true highlight. The staff is friendly. The hotel is full with pretty cats. Worth its price.
This boutique hotel was in the heart of Bodrum city centre.. walking distance to the Marina, restaurants, shopping. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful.
