The location was perfect. Very close to the centre and the hotel overlooks both the black sea and a beautiful new mosque. There are many day trips in Trabzon. Some for historical places which I don't recommend as it could be same as anywhere else, but to go for Landscape & Nature which are the competitive advantage in Trabzon.
In fact, most of sightseeing are not in Trabzon city itself but in adjacent cities like Rize. However Trabzon considered as central point to stay in then go around.
Before my arrival, I was looking for specific tours, but I have made changes when I found better sightseen than what is commercially announced on social media.
On the top of course: Uzungol. It's out of discussion :)
- 2nd: Hidernebi. It's not well known but incredibly amazing. You will almost be over the sky or to be honest, to reach a top view where you will be inside the cloud while part still above and other part lower than you.
Those are the most attraction I loved them. There are others like Ayder but it was ok, not wow.
The Top of the top but unfortunately I see it dangerous to go is "Huser " All videos show it's unbelievable where the top of the mountain is totally above the cloud. However all reviews I saw which is not much actually are talking about its dangerous road which bumpy, rocked, and not smoothed and so narrow going up / down the mountain by cars. My concern is this trip usually going up to see the sunset., so how come to get down in the dark ?!!
So finally I choose to go Hidernebi instead which could give you closer experience and view but not risky.
Most of people hang out by night around the city center square "Mydan" I see nothing there, however instead, the coast side is better by sunset to relax.

Our goal during this trip was to visit the Aquarium (it was good!) and walk the streets of Meidan. We've also visited BozTepe and the ancient ruins of a Greek monastery. Interesting city with great highways and small ancient streets with slopes and heights.
The last thing was to shop a bit and it is good at Forum. They have huge parking and lots of shops.

Trabzon is a beautiful place but don't get hod of a property know to you...I stayed at double tree by hiltot after my horrendous one night at cebeci grand hotel....it was an amazing stay....cebeci has to still refund my booking amount...

It is a very beautiful place! We loved the waterfalls, lakes and the mountain areas! Uzungol was amazing. The cave was also very nice we loved the aya sofia and black sea, the parks for kids.
We had our own car so was really easy to travel around the city.
Everything was great! Whatever we asked, they provided it to us! The reception of guests in this hotel is at the highest level, which cannot be found even in 5 stars. We were provided with free breakfast, although it was not included in the reservation. We were allowed to stay until 18:00 the next day for free. This helped us a lot. Thank you very much for everything you do for your guests! Now I have only one place in Trabzon that I will return to again.
The hotel was absolutely amazing. Its location is strategically placed, right in the heart of the city and only minutes away from the square. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The service was excellent, and I would like to extend my gratitude to Mohammed. He is incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responds to all requests promptly. Both he and Abdullah also assisted me with planning local trips in Trabzon.
I highly recommend it.
