Said and his wife gave me a very warm welcome and showed me round the accommodation on arrival. Unfortunately I only stayed there for one night, but Said was always helpful and I enjoyed the chats with him a lot! He did everything possible to make me feel comfortable all the time.
The property is more beautiful than in the pictures and you feel right at home. The view from rooftop is a real highlight. The room was sufficient for one person and clean. The AC was nice and strong.
The location was also perfect!. The accommodation is in a very quiet area, only 5 min walk to the beach and also to the centre with shopping facilities and the train station.
If I will ever go to La Marsa again, I would definitely stay with Said and his Wife!

This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. There are nice places to eat nearby and historic places to visit.

La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day.
I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs.
We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.

Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

We had stayed at The 18 La Marsa Guest House a few days prior. Our experience was so positive that we decided to cancel our reservation at Sousse and rebook our last night in Tunisia with The 18. Our hosts were extremely helpful and on both stays we had great conversations with them. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable but more importantly ever so convenient to the airport. This is the perfect location for anyone who is departing from Tunis airport in the morning, whether you have a rental car (as we did) or not.
A very good location in Marsa/Gammarth. Check in was easy as hosts went out of the way to be contactable.Very big apartment and dues to time of year (low season) was very good value for money. Easy to get taxis from near by hotel and a bit of a walk to the coast.
Beautiful beachside villa, nice and modern rooms. Lovely decoration. Has a big pool and literally 2 steps into the ocean. Very charming, helpful and fluent English speaking host. By far the best out of the 6 hotels we stayed in during 2 weeks in Tunesia.
Lilia was super nice and showed us where to go have dinner and showed us the place. great service and very clean room and hotel. Location was great and breakfast was so yummy. I highly recommend it.
The location is really good, with easy access to the beach, supermarket and pharmacy.
A number of restaurants and cafes are in the area as well.
The hotel spa is also very good.
