Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile from the doorman, who promptly guided me to the reception. The staff were welcoming, and my check-in was efficiently completed within five minutes. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and inviting, providing a comfortable space to unwind. As I arrived after 9 p.m., I ordered room service, which arrived promptly. The food was reasonably priced, delicious, and satisfying. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of fresh food, and the staff were, once again, exceptionally friendly. In the evening, I dined at the hotel's Chinese restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food—highly recommended.
I had an early check-out and made a small request, which was promptly attended to by the Manager, who was extremely helpful. Overall, my stay was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

If you want good food and a laid-back vacation in the city, this is a place to visit. I enjoyed the variety of food and the walking distance this city has to offer. If I wanted to go to the beach, it only took us a few minutes to get to a nearby beach. Kota Bharu has a few beaches to go to and I recommend that you visit each and every one of them because each has a unique feel and atmosphere to it.
Be sure you avoid Friday because most of the shops are closed on that day.

Kota bharu is a very conservative town and is very near the jetty’s to visit stunning islands off its coast. The restaurants were plentiful and we found the food very delicious. Alcohol is difficult to find but not impossible if you enjoy a beer.

Suppose is a nice city, but poor management by city council. Need more upgrade on the place, dusty and dirty roads. Too many traffic lights, not properly planned.
People are throwing rubbish everywhere, even from cars. No enforcement, no proper management by the council is the main cause.

For those who like historical places, there are many places to visit. Food are authentic and nice too.
I was surprise there many Buddhist temples in KOTA Bahru and most of them have the largest or tallest statues, worth to visit

We didn't find much to do in Kota Bahru.
We didn't find much to do in Kota Bahru. We were there on a public holiday so not sure if that affected how many places were open. The area we stayed was pretty dead. We visited the street art which was very beautiful. We had a look at the river which was close to where we stayed. It was brown and murky and quite disgusting. We used this as a stop over before heading to the Perhentian Islands but wished we had kept going. We ate at the Barat Bistro. We were the only customer at the time but the food was excellent.

I really enjoy my staycation in Kota Bharu.
I really enjoy my staycation in Kota Bharu. Their people are nice and polite. Their society are simple, and I enjoyed their local food especially Laksam, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Ulam Cikgu, Coal grilled sea food which really fresh, sup belut and many more. I also enjoy their worth buying local fruits especially durian, rambutan etc…
Never leave Kota Bharu without having their Raja Kunyit Durian, sup belut and nasi ulam cikgu…

It was just a simple budget hotel but certainly comfortable. Perfect for small family or group of friends. Decently clean and room environment is also nice.
