The host was kind and welcoming. He recommended the Petra hiking route(going to Little Petra first via free shuttle and starting off at Al-Deir monastery) for us who arrived at the hotel around noon, and it turned out to be the best choice we've made. The hotel is located very close to the visitor center(5 min drive) and the good restaurants like Al-Wadi!

We had the Jordan pass and boked for 3 days to go into Petra. We arrived in the afternoon at 4 p.m. so walked in to the Treasury, we then went in for the whole day and then on our last morning walked in the backway.
there are lots of places to eat in Wadi Musa and reasonably priced. The museum is worth going into.
we got a donkey up to the monastery which was a very exciting experience and then walked down. It is worth visiting.

Do not get food near the visitor center, it is expensive. Get it from one of the restaurant a km away, called downtown by the folk. Like mehrbash or Falafel place.

Wadi Musa is the town that surrounds Petra, a historic place not to miss. Also in Wadi Musa is the rock that Moses ( Musa) hit with his staff and water miraculously formed. It has a beautiful view from that site
Also, The hotel next to the Petra entrance is elegant- but it's star is the Cave Bar- check it out for a bar that is over 2000 yrs old !

Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
Wadi Musa itself is a mall place with a few restaurants. Please are amazing and very polite, as in the rest of the country.
The only issue a whole place has is the water - it does not flow well. Hence, the bathrooms need to be used with caution and use very low pressure as the higher one can make it wet for days.
A recommendation for a good restaurant would be Mr. Falafel in The Tourist Street. A huge hug for the owner - Rami!

This is an absolute hidden gem in Wadi Musa. The manager, Rasheed, is the kindest person we met in Jordan (and there is a lot of competition for that!). There is nothing that he cant do for you, and it really makes your experience and stay all the better. He even allowed us to go to Petra first thing in the morning by providing a lunch box as a replacement for breakfast (not all hotels in the area do this). The room was really spacious and clean, and the location is about 15/20 minute walk to Petra entrance.
The location is very convenient for Petra and for restaurants in Wadi Musa. The manager in particularly was extremely welcoming and helpfully talked us through Petra with the map, helping us to plan a route and even putting on an early breakfast so we could get to Petra when it opened. The room was clean and comfortable, and the roof terrace has lovely views. We thought it was great value for money too. I definitely recommend this hotel for a successful visit to Wadi Musa and Petra.
Very strategic hotel, that offers huge rooms at a great quality/price ratio. Being Wadi Musa (Petra's city) not big at all, we opted for a solution with handy parking for our car, close to everything (walking distance to the main touristic street and 5' car drive to Petra historic site) and with perfect services.
Cherry on top: huge room, early breakfast (from 06:30 onwards, with staff already there to prepare fresh omelettes on the spot) and amicable staff.
The room and the breakfast was so nice !
Mohannad Nawafleh (jaguar) help us for our car problem, he bring us to Petra with all the information we need.
He was always very nice, welpcoming and helpful
Thank you to honor Ogla Nawafleh to bring Mohannad to work to the Luxury Petra Moon hotel.
Thanks to him, our stay was perfect !
I really recommend to stay at the Petra Moon hotel if you want to visit Petra.
Customer service is a lot better than the 5 star hotels i’ve been in Jordan. People are smiling and that is priceless. Location is best as it is 2 mins walk to Petra entrance. Room is sparkling clean. Complimentary fruits and drinks made us felt welcome.
