Ocho Rios has a lot of to offer from Margaritaville to. Dunn's River to shopping and beaches. Great location for a lot of fun and activities. I stayed in Fisherman's Point which was within walking distance of everything from Starbuck's to restaurants to the beach.
I enjoyed eating at Ocean's 11 which had great fish dishes. I hung out at Kanuka Falls which has a beautiful garden, animals and waterfalls. Margaritaville was vibing with music and nice drinks.
Just remember to not go out at night alone and for the most part when you tell the vendors no thank you they leave you alone. It is truly a great spot if you want to do adventures or just hang out at the beach!

Ocho Rios is a tourist town, I feel like the locals have an understanding of that. They were all very nice, I had no problem leaving the resort with my family. We took a walk to try Jamaicas famous KFC. Overall great experience.

(MY OPINION) Ocho Rios is one of the most beautiful towns in Jamaica. My absolute favorite river in Ocho Rios is Blue Hole.
Nightlife: 8Rivas & Taboo (there may be others, but never been)
Restaurants: There are a lot of great restaurants; some may not be in Ocho Town, but they are worth the drive (Miss T, Plantation, Sharkies, Roxborough, 8Rivas, etc..)
One of the reasons I love Ocho Rios is how easy it is to move about the town freely and safely.

We stayed for four nights.
We stayed for four nights. It is good for us as we went to the market , stores which was walking distance. Friendly people and we felt safe walking in the town. We eat at mongoose restaurant. Really good food and atmosphere. We also eat at island grill and the food is good. Go to the market for coconut water and fresh fruits.

Very interesting - but lots of litter.
The saddest was the stray injured and neglected dogs and cats.
As a single traveler one does not wander off on their own in Jamaica.
The Jamaican people are lovely!!
Great food!!

the property was good and clean, however breakfast is very limited and as a vegan person I couldn’t eat the breakfast they have. I asked if they had fruits as we are in jamaica that should be easy to get, but it wasn’t the case all they had was eggs, sausage and cow milk. I had to go out everyday to buy fresh fruits which were literally 5 min walk from the hotel.
also I stayed for 2 nights and the room was never cleaned, didn’t get fresh towels. quite disappointing especially when they call themselves a resort
Jamaica inn is a delightful experience. The entire facility is very well designed with a number of places to spend time, multiple environments for dining, and plenty of activities both and off site. It never feels like the resort is packed. It is a quiet and very relaxing environment, and trends towards an older clientele, but if that's what you're seeking - it's the perfect option.
This hotel is a real taste of Jamaica. The location, right on the beach, is excellent and we could walk out of our room and into the sea within a few steps. The hotel doesn't have a pool but that doesn't matter because the sea swimming is excellent. The food was some of the best we had on the island.
Top location on the coast, in walking distance to town centre, very friendly and dedicated staff, beautiful gardens, very good restaurant, everything you need available. Authentic Jamaican hotel, not an all-inclusive resort owned by foreign company.
Mystic Ridge was perfectly located in Ocho Rios 5 minutes walk from the beach and supermarket but on the side of a mountain so great views. Chosen for its closeness to Dunns river and Mystic Mountain.
