Erbil is becoming a modern city, everything looks amazing and organized, I loved the restaurants in Erbil also the shopping centres, the malls, the parks, altogether it’s a beautiful city, the only thing I didn’t like is when you get cut off by some of the crazy drivers and I really hope that the authorities will pay more attention to this matter and fix it as soon as possible :)

Getting around is easy.
Getting around is easy. Nice parks and resorts and tourist areas. I liked the tourist areas around Erbil, short day trips then you can go back to your hotel in the city.
I see that the government is working to improve tourism, however, there is still more work need to be done, investment in the parks and resorts is very important which will bring more tourist locally and internationally.

Our stay at the hotel was beyond exceptional!
Our stay at the hotel was beyond exceptional! This was mainly due to the front office receptionist (Ramen) who was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Our entire duration was seamless and wonderful! It’s obvious the staff truly care about their guests and we will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel. Thank you so much again Ramen, you have made us loyal guests

I would stay in Ainkawa rather than Erbil, it is a waking...
I would stay in Ainkawa rather than Erbil, it is a waking area. Erbil is a car city, like Dubai or Jakarta. It is not a walking city like Kuala Lumpur or Paris.
If one has a car than Erbil area is nice, especially if one can go up into the mountains in the summer.

Roads are well structured and clean. Nice Malls where you can find almost all international brands (i.e Nike, Adidas, Levis, LTB, Puma, Sketchers, Burger King, Hardees, and more).

I stayed 2 nights in soul mate hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful. They really are trying to help you and you feel it's from bottom of their heart. Hotel is clean and comfortable, but some facilities such as bathroom and bed need to be renewed. Room service work properly and breakfast is reasonable. I don't think you can find better option for this price in Erbil.
