Loved the food and the people. Shopping is light on the pocket. Must visit is Surat castle Dutch Cemetry, and Dumas Beach. You should not skip the Food and shopping here. It's amazing!!!! Not to mention!!!! It's very very very clean. A very apt space for business!!!! I loved everything about this place

Surat is not worth a special visit.
Surat is not worth a special visit. However I stayed an extra night here because I was in a pleasant hotel and I needed more time to make plans for onward travel.
The main place of interest is the fort which has been restored. This was a large well-executed project and many discoveries were made as the ruined building was explored and rebuilt.
Now it is a lovely building and there are also many ceramics, textiles and ivory miniatures on display.
The city is noisy and dirty with some old carved wooden houses.
It is not particularly attractive but it is safe and people were friendly so I enjoyed my stay.
I left by bus and I noticed that there were several upmarket shopping malls on the outskirts.
It was certainly a convenient place for me to stop and review my itinerary.

Buzzing, bustling city abuz with auto-rickshawas can get you pretty much everywhere, very busy railway station, friendly people lots of eateries , visit to Zampha Bazar an excellent experience, Tapti River and Sea coast/beeches also.

As per my review Surat city is a big city and maximum business tour has been planned by guest. Hence, a proper accommodation required to be booked for guest for taking rest. Please do not listing such type of hotel to create the bad image of your booking.
I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay there. Staffs are very helpful and nice, always ready when we asked for help. The menu list is well diversified and the food is very yummy.
Overall we didn't regret choosing Sifat Hotel for our first experience in Surat.
Loved it. the hotel is very clean at a good location, with very friendly and professional staff. great breakfast and a comfortable bed round off the perfect stay. It is very close to VR MALL surat . Locality is very nice . Food is available easily nearby . Overall perfect stay .
The staff at the night reception was not available while check out and his behaviour was very rude will not recommend anyone to stay at night this hotel
