Beautiful place in Bali that you cannot afford to miss. As duration of stay was only 3 nights with almost 2 days washed out due to incessant rains, could visit only the Monkey Forest and Tegallalang Rice Terrace. Next visit would plan a longer stay.

My first time back in 10 years and all my favorite shops,restaurants(esp Clear),ecstatic dance(Yoga Barn) still flourishing.Streets and footpaths ridiculously congested lots of the time so walk with awareness and confidence.The local people are exceptionally warm,friendly and happy so good fun times for me.Thanks Ubud !!

Great location for travelling around the region to see the waterfalls, temples and rice fields. Also a good place to rent scooters to travelling around. Monkey forest in Ubud is worth a visit. Plenty of nice places to eat around the centre. Recommend around 4-5 days to avoid rushing around.

Interesting to see the "other" side of Bali eg heritage, temples, forests, rice fields and terraces, rivers and monkeys.
Though of course there was still plenty of shopping, bars, restaurants and spas as well.

Ubud is very, very busy and the traffic is awful. It was definitely worth a visit for us after 10 years and there is some great shopping and eateries but if you don't like crowds, and traffic jams, give it a miss.

Ubud is beautiful, but the streets are very congested during peak hour on the tourist strips. I’d say stay just out off the main tourist strips if you want more of a local Bali experience…. The streets behind Yoga Barn for example are simple and have no westerner restaurants, you’ll get an idea of Balinese life and culture, but if you’re craving a pizza, the busy tourist area will offer you that!
There’s so many beautiful areas to explore. Take your time and make the most of immersing yourself in the culture and talking to the locals, most importantly be respectful.
Fantastic hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing (presentation, flavours, everything top). Location and views were stunning. This was one of the best hotels we have ever been to. We stayed in a private villa with pool, very spacious, very well maintained and designed with extraordinary view on the jungle. Don't have doubts, this hotel is expensive, but well worth the money.
This is one of the best villas I've been to and it's second time for me in Bali and I've been to many different villas and hotels here. The price is great, breakfasts are the best and the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Can't recommend them enough, would leave a higher score if I could. They also take care of animals and environment! :)
the hotel is a gem hidden in the heart of Ubud, surrounded by the beautiful rice terraces and the jungle. The villa with private pool facing the jungle are a unique experience, it felt like being in paradise. The staff is super professional and friendly, always ready to assist us. they completed this fantastic stay
Stunning private villas with private pool, very friendly staff to help you with whatever you need. A little tucked away from the town but still easy enough to get there, shuttle to and from
the hotel or they can arrange a taxi if you don’t have a scooter.
Awesome hotel in awesome location. Juat out of the action in Ubud, but close enough to get to. We had the suite with private pool which was incredible. Would love to stay again
