We were a group of 9 traveling from the USA and this was one of the few properties that could host all of us together. The individual cottages were small, clean and cozy. The queen-sized beds were very comfortable memory foam. The central building houses the restaurant, bar, and gathering space, all of which we put to good use. The breakfast was delicious, and the menu sufficiently varied to meet the desires of all nine of us! Also, parking was plentiful.

Rockview is an exceptionally lovely guest house! The room was beautifully decorated and included every essential amenity. The owners even provided a bottle of Talisker whiskey in the hall along with glasses, so guests could help themselves to a dram! The dining room overlooks the water, so guests have a lovely view while enjoying breakfast and, or dinner. Dinners are available if ordered in advance, which I highly recommend. The salmon and smoked haddock dishes were divine!
We had 3 nights but could easily have stayed for more.
We had 3 nights but could easily have stayed for more. Driving on often single track roads takes a little while to get around, but this was a great base for seeing the island. We cooked our own meals using the well-equipped kitchen - which had most of the staples such as seasonings and oil. We bought local haunch of venison in Portree which is 10 minutes away, and made a sauce from the blackberries in the lane to accompany it. Our best meal of the whole holiday.
Perhaps not the ideal location for a 1 night stay - but great for 3+
