Great buses to location on the island and it looks like there are some good eateries in town.
From what I could see, there’s WW2 museums, castles gardens and (hard) coastal walks. I saw an exciting looking sea pool so lots to do for most people I think over a few days.

Very safe and clean town.
Very safe and clean town. Every day we walked the beautiful cobble stone streets to have dinner , shop, or drink wine. September is a quiet month so nothing was too crowded but still so pleasant to walk everywhere.
We highly recommend Sorrento Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, very authentic and they had a lovely wine list!

It is such a beautiful part of the island.
It is such a beautiful part of the island. Wonderful bays for swimming and such an amazing coastal path and really easy to get around the rest of the island. we did a day trip to Herm which was definitely a highlight - more beautiful beaches for me to swim from.
The only negative I would say is don't have a scone and cream at the cafe downstairs in Petit Bot - VERY MEDIOCRE, owner very defensive when questioned about the cream - showed us the bottle and told us how expensive it was and how he put it though a sort of aerator(I accused him of using the ubiquitous squirty cream) ended up the equivalent of watered down beer but instead it was just mostly air and a very meagre amount at that - a complete rip off in my opinion. The restaurant and bar upstairs wonderful however is great.

Hotel is really well placed to explore St Peter Port, go to tourist information, get a ferry to the other islands or to catch buses from the town terminal to go all over the island.
The hotel's Pickled Pig restaurant is warm and welcoming with an excellent menu - the food was delicious.
Hotel breakfast is also excellent with a good selection of cold dishes or hot dishes cooked to order.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
We did not breakfast at the hotel, but dined there on two occasions and the food was good. The single bed was far too narrow, however, so I would have preferred a double. As to the location, St Peter Port is very hilly and it was quite a walk up a steep hill. That was less of a problem for me than for my older brother. Certainly a consideration for the future, though the Pandora was an enjoyable stay.
The room service was excellent and non-intrusive. Breakfast choices were very good. I didn’t use the gym or swimming pool this time, but it’s good to have them on site. The view to the garden area was very pleasant from our terrace. The hot tub was checked daily. Staff, particularly in the restaurant were very pleasant. Just a half hour walk to St Peter port. On a good bus route.
The location is brilliant. This is my second stay at Moores and I’d stay again. Once the refurbishment is finished I expect it will be perfect. The street it resides in in St Peter Port is lovely with the excellent pub on the corner and the shops / town centre on the doorstep. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful!
Rooms both clean and comfortable. Friendly, mainly helpful staff, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Good location, short walk to St Peter Port or bus stop right outside hotel to go to town or to the west coast. Fabulous island, everyone very friendly.
