The Hotel was very. Clean & rooms was lovely with everything you needed. Towels. Short gel. Shampoo. That was tea- coffee making facilities.

The room and the bathroom had plenty of space, it gave much better feeling than in the Lonon hotel. The floor was covered by a very soft carpet, making the room very comfortable, The receptionist is very friendly person. The breakfast was not self-service, but after all the lady was very kind, and we got enough to eat and drink, and even delicious deserts.

Our room was ready much earlier than we anticipated which allowed us to drop our bags in the room and go to our event. The receptionist was super friendly and told us a little bit about how the hotel closed and reopened again.
The facilities were basic but very much home from home. We didn't need to use the WIFI but there was the option to use it if we wanted it.
The room looked to have has extensive refurb work done, including a new bathroom and a cute breakfast area with a microwave as well as the standard hotel kettle. Also a fridge and freezer, so long stay guests could essentially bring food and make it also.
The kitchen was being refurbed so no breakfast when we stayed but the vibe was great and staff super friendly. We will stay again on further trips to Coventry

Fantastic room with very comfortable 4 poster bed and courtyard view. Excellent dinner very accommodating for vegetarians. Special touches like an anniversary card and chocolate decorated plate. Placed in a romantic spot for evening meal. The best bit of the whole stay was booking the date night punt with Anthony at Abbey Punts. This really made our stay and he was so passionate about the history and making it all special for you. Excellent singer and pianist. Plus the place that he has created is just so amazing.

I wasn't actually in Coventry. I was attending a weekend conference at the University of Warwick. I had two nights accommodation there and needed an 'early bird' night which wasn't available in the conference venue, hence my stay at The Old Mill - which was recommended to me.
A downer for me though is the complex road system around Coventry - multiple roundabouts!

Started off well and breakfast was excellent and the staff were excellent. Due to personal issues I had to leave a day early and when I questioned a refund was given a shrug of shoulders and a goodbye. An opportunity to maybe transfer that paid night’s accommodation to use at a future date would be more accommodating. I won’t return or recommend to this hotel.

My father was a Coventry lad so I have relatives here. I really enjoy staying in Coventry - it is centrally based for so many things - Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick Castle, and Kenilworth, to name just a few. The city, itself ,offers the Cathedral and the Motor museum which are both well worth a visit.
It is seven years since my last visit and I was very impressed with the beautification of the centre of the city. It has turned a pretty bland 1950/60 shopping space into an attractive place that is an asset to the city.

It's a funny place - a mixture of new and old - but I love...
It's a funny place - a mixture of new and old - but I love it. Whatever you do or don't believe, you absolutely must visit the cathedral. Start in the ruins and walk through to the new cathedral; it looks quite plain inside but, when you get to the far end, turn around and you'll find it really is a box of jewels. Herbert gallery definitely worth a visit, Holy Trinity and St. John the Baptist beautiful too. Lady Herbert's garden is a must as well.
I'm gluten-free, so the Golden Cross pub is perfect for me; cafe Italia is also great.
I still have no idea how the bus network works... would a simple diagram be too much to ask? But the centre is very walkable, so you may not need this anyway.
I loved staying at The Telegraph Hotel, a great asset to Coventry. A convenient and comfortable base for business meetings, sightseeing and events at Coventry Arena. It's a sophisticated hotel with a cultural vibe, if you are interested in 1950's and 1960's Mid-century Modern design details, it's especially enjoyable.
The room had a lovely view, the bed was comfortable. Hair dryer provided. Exceptional breakfast. I requested a hot chocolate at breakfast - Patricia provided excellent hospitality/customer service in making the hot chocolate. The hotel is situation within 10 minutes walking distance from Coventry train station.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, Helen, Phil and Clifford are all very helpful friendly people on the reception desk always happy to help. I stay there every time I'm in Coventry if they have rooms available.
