All staff in the hotel was lovely and pleasant. The hotel was lovely and clean and welcoming. The bed / duvet/ pillows was so comfortable.
Hotel Cromwell Stevenage was once a farm house and home to John Thurloe, secretary to Oliver Cromwell. The property is close to the A1(M) and just 10 minutes’ drive from Knebworth Park.

The hotel was beuatiful and located perfectly to be near restaurants and bars (one nearby even had free live music my first night!) while still being quiet. I absolutely loved the elegance of the hotel, the decor was amazing, bed was comfortable and cosy, my room had a lot of natural light, wonderful water pressure in the shower.

Lovely setting and beautifully appointed. The room was cosy and comfortable. The bar and dinning area were decorated in traditional farmhouse style which created a lovely atmosphere. The gardens were also very pleasant. The food was also of a high standard, I very much enjoyed my dinner.

Staff at reception , Ruchitha plus F & B Staff, Laura were really helpful when I was really anxious about the food and water situation after 12 o’clock midnight, as I say food and water are a necessity not a luxury, small things that are easily rectified, Thank Adam M Hartfree, Director LTD Live the dream Ltd

The size of the rooms are too small.
The size of the rooms are too small. I requested for two single bed rooms of which only one room was made available. The corridor is dirty and smelling. There was complementary bottle water which was being said that we had to purchase. Never again would I book Ibis as it does not suit for purposes and far beyond expectations.

Driving from Scotland to visit my sister in hospital so no other comments had a take-away from the Golden Siam restaurant very expensive and not true Thai cooking having lived in Thailand for 12 years I am more than qualified to judge. If we have to visit again I hope that it will not be at the hospital.

We were in Stevenage specifically to visit with our daughter, husband and new grand-daughter. We loved that we could easily get around town with Uber. There was a small market area within walking distance of where we stayed with a little pub for breakfast and a Tesco Express. I have been to Knebworth House which you really should not miss. It is a lovely, stately old historical home in the area and was very nice to visit particularly if you are a history buff.

Basic breakfast but was a cheap rate room so wouldn't expect much.
Also no parking facilities was an issue after arriving at midnight I had to park around the back and didn't want to messing about with car park machines that late in a very quite and isolated area, I ended up with a ticket the next morning. So really it ended up costing me a lot more to stay there where I could have paied extra for a hotel that was a bit more pricey and better suited location to where I wanted.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette was well stocked and very convenient. Parking was great, and the smoking area was very cute. The hotel felt very cozy and welcoming.
